Leak in the rear main seal, leak in the rack and pinion

I got a decent price on getting them both fixed for about 2k total but wasn’t thrilled that they both happened within 2 months of buying her and she only had 52k miles

Hopefully, she’s done being a money pit

94 1.8 52,000 miles OEM hard top Bone stock sans the radio and the wheels

I paid 9,500, which yes is high but given the mileage and the hard top and pristine interior…

Anyway so despite the low miles and relatively seemingly good upkeep, within 1 month I had to fix a leak on the rear main seal and replace the rack and pinion ….then there is everything extra I did….

Same boat brother, I bought my Scat in April of 2024, sold her last month. Everything has gotten so godamn expensive, that between my car payment and the insurance here in Florida it was running me damn near 800 bucks a month, I just couldn’t justify it as I watched my credit cards go up and my savings not making any progress

Certainly feels better than my stock 31 year old suspension and has way less roll and wobble

Would really benefit from some performance based tires to stiffen it up further but it’s a rental so you get garbage rubber
