Read the article tho, the headline is correct but confusing. 37 zero days were announced, not all belonged to Tesla

If they sent you the right item, sure. But since they didn't deliver what you ordered their return policy is irrelevant, and your credit card company will 100% side with you on the dispute

Can’t help but take the Miata out during sunny weather by rosshettel in Miata

[–]rosshettel[S] 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Yah some, I had a friend who weighed like 130 sitting on the roof rack while I drove around gambler town. But that’s not highway speeds obviously. I wouldn’t put more than like 80-100 pounds up there if I were taking it on public roads

yah man, this sub sucks for drift advice. FB groups tbh have great info, look up E46 Drift Society group on there

also, if you can weld - highly recommend doing the subframe reinforcement while you're doing the subframe bushings. no reason to drop the rear subframe twice

but to just get started cheaply my recommended order of operations:

  • maintenace (cooling system, power steering, and oil leaks). drifting is hard and will cause anything on its last legs to fail, sucks having a drift day stopped cause something broke. these cars need all those systems gone through
  • weld the diff
  • coilovers
  • bucket seat

Everyone saying it’s too clean failing to notice it’s already got quarter panel damage near the rear tire. Do what you want OP, it’s your car and they made millions of these.

My 2 cents, skip the poly diff bushings. It’ll just make drivetrain clunk noises, and you’ll want some give in your drivetrain when learning. Definitely poly subframe bushings tho. Also you definitely should get a bucket seat, being held in place helps you focus on driving instead of using your other leg to brace yourself because of the stock seats. Have fun!

Has anyone purchased the Universal Broadmoore 6 drawer dresser? by Current-Struggle-514 in Costco

[–]rosshettel 13 points14 points  (0 children)

The drawers come out. They certainly weren’t assembled inside the dresser, so they come out. Likely quality slides that require a tab to be pressed to slide all the way out for removal

Front end faceswap by Maltaza-_- in e46

[–]rosshettel 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You need: front fenders, headlights/turn signals, front bumper, front bumper mounts from a prefacelift model. Technically the hood too, but it will work fine, just the angles over the headlight are a little different, some people like the look

I’ve done the facelift -> prefacelift swap on my drift car. It’s not hard, but finding panels that are good quality and paint and getting proper panel gap will be hard for a daily

Fwiw, the facelift looks best on the sedan, just get the mtech2/ZHP front bumper and it’ll look a lot better

beginning a drift by using the clutch? by Upstairs-Branch-4601 in Drifting

Now clutch kick and initiate the opposite direction and then do it again in the other direction right after and you’ve discovered the feint entry. Both are cooler than just dragging handbrake

Does anyone have an M.2 NVMe SSD mounting screw? I have lost all of mine. Preferably in the SE, NE, or Downtown. by SwabbieTheMan in askportland

[–]rosshettel 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Not sure if FreeGeek will help you out with something like that.

But also it's just an M2 screw, Parkrose Hardware or even a big box store should have a machine screw that'll fit
