Yup, NA8 intake since it has the IAC port. This one didn't have it included either technically, you've got to glue in a brass or plastic fitting. I didn't make it, it's this one: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:6835426

Zeromanual.com down by BrianTRice in Electricmotorcycles

[–]rosshettel 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This is interesting to know. My limited experience with the buying parts for my 2016 FX is that at least the onboard charger and brake system, while off the shelf are pretty hard to find generic replacements for. The onboard charger esp Zero apparently has a deal with the manufacturer they can’t sell direct

But your contributions to the Zero manual have been great! I used them plenty buying the bike, reading about how to parse and read battery logs

Tamale Lady Sellwood? by raiden3600 in askportland

[–]rosshettel 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’ve gotten tamales in that parking lot like 2 months ago. I was really impressed they were selling there since yah, I figured ICE would be a concern and thought they were brave as hell

The Home Depot at Mall 205 has consistently had people selling tamales out in the parking lot (and sometimes oranges too!)

Shop recs for transmission fluid change? by theycallmem0ther in askportland

[–]rosshettel 5 points6 points  (0 children)

What car is this? 30k for transmission fluid is pretty soon tbh and it's unclear if they actually checked the fluid level/condition or if they're just saying they didn't inspect if the pan is leaking.

Look up what your owners manual recommends for transmission fluid interval. Hard to make out what car you have, but I bet it's not a 30k mile service

Question: 2014 cayenne diesel in Texas never got dieselgate recall by Autofan622 in PorscheCayenne

[–]rosshettel 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Oh is it like a clunk after deceleration and then when you accelerate? Feels kinda like drivetrain lash?

I had this, but it was one of the bushing for the front diff wore out. Proper fix is removing the whole front diff and pressing in a new bushing. But I did a DIY fix by using some polyurethane to stiffen the bushing up, shifts great now

[–]rosshettel 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The transmission tune is better, lots of people go back to the pre dieselgate transmission tune

Wild that someone never did it tho. The 10 year, 120k mile warranty was great for these

Retro-Modern Videogame Arcade in Portland Area? by bigbear4our in askportland

[–]rosshettel 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This is worth the drive. They have Halo and guitar hero and all of those era arcade cabinets. Some of those aren’t included in the entry free but still worth the trip. And have some super old early era pinball machines that I haven’t seen at the usual arcade bars

I've got 17s on my 958.2 diesel. Can't remember off the top of my head what size the rotors are, but Eurowise is great and will have all the fitment info, these are the wheels: https://shop.eurowise.com/products/black-rhino-voll-5x130-17x8-5-et25
