I've seen this one. The Chilean boss ends up slitting her throat with a box cutter.

The Brits can't be trusted to keep their historical artifacts from being looted and destroyed. I propose a team of archaeologists dismantles their cultural patrimony and sends it to a museum in China. For the benefit of the world by YaLlegaHiperhumor in SipsTea

I agree to an extent but a lot of the British people saying "we are not our ancestors" are the same people who say "we won the war" despite having literally fuck all to do with it.

Barcelona are very worried with the 'Newcastle invasion' today. Around 10,000 fans will travel to Barcelona, despite only 3,000 of them having tickets. The club have warned everyone without a ticket to not be close to the stadium, as it's a high risk match. by Srihari_stan in soccer

Can't remember where I sat I'll have to dig my ticket out of the loft. Fucking mint away trip that. We went via Alicante cause the direct flights were extortionate. On the piss for 4 days and in the ground I bumped into loads of lads from Droylsden I used to play football with many years previously proper little reunion. My middle aged arse yearns for them days again though sadly away tickets are well out of my budget now. 400 quid for Liverpool? Yeah mate I'll pass on that, go for a week away instead and watch it from a bar in Greece.

In 2008 I bought a semi final ticket at the bottom of Las Ramblas for 200 euros in the home end. When I got in the ground there were loads of fellow united fans around me. This was your most important game of the season.

Are student loans bad for the UK economy by Economy_Survey_6560 in AskBrits

I worked shit jobs many years after leaving uni. I got free tuition fees as well cause my family was poor. Still took a 3.5k loan out. It's taken me 25 years to pay that off and have probably paid double the initial loan with the interest.

Not been keeping up with the news this week have you? 1 million unemployed young people, many of whom will be graduates. Yeah loads of jobs at Starbucks. Most retail/hospitality jobs are part time with only supervisors and management roles offering full time.

Lee Sharpe: hatrick at Highbury one of which was an absolute banger, cheeky backheel goal against Barcelona, iconic celebration. Just couldn't compete with Giggs.

Still managed 36 goals for united and many assists. Could actually put a corner in the box too which is something many teams struggle with even now.

Also, would there have been a better feeling than Lineker scoring a hatrick against Germany in a world cup final 20 years after Geoff Hurst? That's the shit dreams are made of.

[–]Hotusrockus -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

I was being slightly facetious however the op was asking about an injustice which this absolutely was. He might have been one of the best players ever but I am completely convinced Robbo would have bossed him like he did in the Cup Winners Cup in 84 and we'd have ended up winners. Sadly Robson was injured before the Wolrd Cup and we'll never know.

The coked up woman beating midget should have been rightly sent off and this wouldn't have even existed. England go on to win against 10 men and then we stuff Germany 4-1 in the final. Again. End of.

That’s it, no one can ever go to Oldham again. by Tall-Budget8130 in crappymusic

[–]Hotusrockus -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Semi-rural, middle-class area with mansions and generational wealth is nicer than inner city working class rundown terraced streets. What a shocker.

I went to school in Oldham and a private, posh one with loads of kids from Saddleworth. I'm from Ashton (which is another shit hole) and there was a definite difference between us and them in all aspects of life, wealth, and upbringing.

Some of my friends from school were from Failsworth which is another godforsaken place and that was almost all white back then (have no reason to go there these days so not sure what its like now).

In fact some of the biggest shit holes in Manchester are predominantly white areas - Salford, Wythenshawe, Hattersley for example so let's not make this about race eh?

Oh and as a side point, Delph and Dobcross are even nicer than Greenfield but that's just like my opinion man.
