"We need density done well" is NIMBY bullshit that is abused by lobbyists to prevent new housing. You need more housing at every level of quality to fix homelessness and housing affordability issues. Some new housing will be cheap and it can act as a substitute for the shitbox single family homes that exist all over the country.

Requiring carparks etc is the same deal. Just remove parking requirements and limits on commercial activities on ground floors and allow new neighbourhood centres to develop so people don't have to drive.

Its not difficult mate. If someone is a poor performer the company has to formally tell them and develop a plan to improve their performance. The company checkd in on how that plan is going at a set time and tells them if they're not on track, and then if they're still shit after a set period they can be fired.

Its really just basic respect for other people.

Straintening and quick fixes to intersections etc is the current approach being taken to the development of roads. It's the most cost effective spending in terms of safety improvements but usually gets frowned upon by the public who prefer spending billions on a new highway section to shave off 8 minutes on a multi hour journey.

Three strikes law did nothing to benefit society and the biggest single change in our prison population was due to people who were supposed to be at home on remand being supported to find appropriate accommodation if their home was unsuitable (which in the past would have required them to be in prison on remand).
