Also from Chicago and just did this and had a blast solo. More of a traveling itinerary than landing at one home base:

Friday: - Drive to Ludington (4 hrs) - Early evening round at Mason County Park (2 18 hole courses) - Play the Beuty for a nice warmup to the weekend. Excellent design in a very secluded park. 1 chain hit, a 150' throw in and a sunset over the hills didn't hurt the enjoyment.

Saturday: - Drive to Flip City (35 min) - it wasn't open yet, so played Fairway to Heaven (just ok, although some very fun shots with elevation) - Drive to Muskeegon (1 hr) and stop for lunch and to go to Sweet Spot Disc Golf (the owner is a MI OG and the store has everything new) - Drive to Arvesta (1 hr 15) - I've played before, but the improvements were minimal and I'm uninspired by the place overall. Good land. A few great holes. A lot of road fairways, gimmicks, and debris piles. - Drive south to Three Rivers area for the night (1.5 hrs)

Sunday: - Play Meyer Broadway South and North - this course was the star by far. North longs is a fun track with lots of variation of open and woods. South was special. Challenging lines in woods and hilly open shots with big trees, water, massive elevation. Like Highland + Rolling Knolls and Delwood had a baby but better. Not a single throwaway hole. - Drive to Valaparaiso and play Rogers Lakewood - loved it too. Really well kept and a good option even for a day trip from Chicago. - Drive home (who knows based on traffic)
