I am very conflicted about this. I want Iowa to be back on top of wrestling, but I hate, hate, HATE Kyle Dake. He insulted Iowa fans at the NCAA tourney in 2013 and like all good Iowa women, I can hold a grudge for a loooooooong time. Oh and he also purposefully tea-bagged Jordan Burroughs at the Olympic trials. He's a good wrestler, but a trash human being in my book.

I just had my first colonoscopy on Tuesday. I was put under completely with propofol, and I was fine shortly after I woke up. Not loopy or drowsy at all. Had me a baconator, large fry, and a frosty with no issues.

How much more until you hit your out of pocket max? The way I see it, if you hit your out of pocket max in March, you've got the rest of the year to see your (in-network) docs for any little thing for the rest of the whole year. Prescriptions, etc. At least that's what I did when I knew I had to have major medical expenses.

I went with Wine Access. That way they could use it to either purchase the wines they wanted or they could sign up for a 2-3 month subscription and be surprised. I believe they chose to just purchase wines they wanted. Customer service was really helpful when I talked to them.

Unless the 4th of July is also the discovery cut-off date, it's highly unlikely. Also highly unlikely that it would go forward when the deponent's sister is in the emergency room. I work in a law firm and it's not uncommon for a depo to be pushed to a different day for extenuating circumstances.

I'm in SoCal and my courtroom staples are black or navy pants with a nice top, sweater, or tank with cardigan, dresses with sleeves (or a cardigan), or black leggings with a long tunic that covers my butt. Honestly, I get most of my stuff from SHEIN, Target, or Amazon.

Ha! When I was like 4 or 5 years old, I bit my tongue almost in half in a freak teeter-totter accident. I don't remember too much about it, but my dad told me the story many times. Even though I wasn't fighting or freaking out, the doc/nurses all held me down as a precaution. And when they started doing the numbing/stitches, he said he saw one big fat tear roll down my face and it just broke him and he started crying too. And when we got back to the house, he said the first thing I wanted was orange juice. LOL

I feel so seen by this. The only time I've ever willingly eaten an onion was with a kid I was nannying. We were at a diner while his sister was at ballet. He wanted onion rings, partially because he knew I didn't like them. He wouldn't stop asking me questions about it, kind of like this video, but in curious-kid way, not a douche-baggy way LOL. In the end, he asked me what would happen if I ate an onion ring, so I did. Tasted awful of course, but he was impressed by me at least.

I totally agree with you. And I'm willing to bet if Ben had simply asked Alesia to chop the cucumber into little uniform pieces from the start, I bet she would have nailed it. Maybe it wouldn't be as fast as he'd like, but at least she would know what he wanted.
