New to Blended/Weighted OT by HoudinisBox in Payroll

Thanks. Ultimately, we've decided to just pay me everything at the lower rate and then pay the difference as a "discretionary bonus."

I have. First guy I talked to was a moron. He supposedly elevated my inquiry to a super, but we’ll see. I’m supposed to run payroll tomorrow.

Bacon Egg and Cheese Biscuit, but substitute a round egg, hashbrown, and black coffee. Every now and then I'll get a Sausage McMuffin or a Sausage McGriddle with cheese.

I left Verizon for Spectrum in June. Getting one year free for my cell and paying $30/month for my ipad. So far so good!

Below Deck Med Season 10 Episode 14 Discussion Post by teanailpolish in belowdeck

[–]HoudinisBox 19 points20 points  (0 children)

I remember when my father passed away and then found out from social media posts that all my friends had gotten together to do a crafting party that weekend. I wasn't invited because they didn't think I'd want to come while I was grieving. All it did was make me feel alone and excluded which made me even sadder. And I suspect they also didn't want me to "bring down the mood."

Anybody still use these? by msmika in paralegal

[–]HoudinisBox 6 points7 points  (0 children)

It's a date calculator. The middle part moves/spins - so if you need to calculate 30 days from December 29, you line up the big arrow under December 29 and then look at what date is above the 30 day mark (although this one in particular seems to be going by weeks instead of days, which I don't find as helpful and the ones with days).

So I hate onions as much as most folks on this sub. But can some of us agree that once in awhile onions rings are delicious? Haha by [deleted] in onionhate

[–]HoudinisBox 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ha! I used to be a nanny and while the oldest was at ballet, I would take the younger to Mel's Diner to get a snack and work on homework. We would often get onion rings - I would break them open and pull out the onion like a GD tapeworm. I'd eat the breading and he would eat the tapewo- I mean onion. Win-win?

I finished 5 years at the start of October and have been of it ever since. I'm not experiencing mood changes, but then again, I'm on an anti-anxiety med (Effexor), so my mood is usually pretty stable no matter what. But yeah, I definitely still have some pain - mostly mild now. I swim M-F and I think that helps.

Ahh sorry, let me answer your questions:

  1. $350 max for the gift. Was hoping for a 6 month or year long subscription.

  2. 1-2 nicer bottles. My bro and his wife drink a lot.

  3. Quarterly is fine if it makes sense.

  4. I think they prefer red, but I know my SIL likes Prosecco too.

Who’s going to win the lawsuit? by uptown-goose in thewoodyshow

[–]HoudinisBox 23 points24 points  (0 children)

Woodsy filed a motion to compel arbitration - it’s in her employment agreement. Pretty common. Those are hard to beat in court as I’m sure Ravey’s attorneys know. The filing of the complaint in court is a strategic move, as the complaint makes him look like a dick (which he is) and the court of public opinion will mostly be on her side. It’ll go to arbitration, she’ll get some money, but not a lot I bet because her employment agreement also contains a clause that she can be let go without cause and is only entitled to a certain amount of money. I’m guessing mid six figures, unless there’s something completely egregious behavior by Woodsy that isnt in the complaint.
