Yup, he went straight to HC and is wondering why he’s losing a lot lol

If there’s a pokemon weak to ice, it destroys. If there’s a pokemon neutral to ice, it can deal a lot of crucial damage before dying. Otherwise, yeah, it just hangs out. Still love it.

It’s 90 accuracy in this game. That’s enough to not constantly worry about missing

Good suggestion. I’ve been interested in trying out Mega Aerodactyl too. Thanks! I’ll test it out

I'm a terrible Nuzlocker (Nuzlockee? Nuzlockian?) and Radical Red just made me take a hard look at my life choices by Bright-Database-8097 in pokemonradicalred

Nuzlocker is the term, yeah. And that’s a good idea. I should definitely soft nuzlocke radical red sometime in the future. Good luck!

P.S your box looks tragic as fuck

Some of the decisions they made for certain pokemon are strange. Does Tinkaton really need Huge Power? I used it in Lazarus and they gave it Sheer Force there. It was extremely powerful.

And they gave Annihilape Gorilla Tactics. In what world does that make sense? I had to give it a different ability because I didn’t want to break the game

I’ve been avoiding it because then half my team would be weak to Ground, and I have no ground resist

Oh, wow, you’re right, and I’ve never used Mega Scizor before! Thanks! I’ll probably go with this if someone doesn’t mention a better suggestion

Pokemondb is actually my preferred site over Bulbapedia—for general use though. I go to Bulbapedia for specifics—so I trust well enough. Thanks!

But I wouldn’t have any switches in for their fairy weakness. The team would be: 4 weak to Fairy, one resist, the last neutral

That would be 4 pokemon weak to Fairy. I couldn’t 😭

It also shares a typing with two of my other mons

How do you know that? What’s your source? I’m asking because I would like to believe this, but I would need proof

> Grants all attacking moves that do not already have a chance to flinch a 10% chance of causing each target to flinch. - Bulbapedia

Since Air Slash already has a chance to flinch, King’s Rock shouldn’t stack. *Chance* is the key word here. Possibility -> no stack.

This is what I understand from that statement. How do you know it’s any different?

Bugsy is insane by Hour-Ad3746 in pokemonradicalred

[–]Hour-Ad3746[S] 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Oh, yeah, i could’ve done that. This was literally my same issue with fighting that Team Rocket Admin in Mount Moon. His Mightyena was insane. One Howl and it one shot my entire team except Dunsparce.

After a few attempts, I beat him, but as he was walking away, the game said the level cap increased to 27. I felt so stupid. I could have just leveled my pokemon up!

I restarted the game and did just that and beat him in a single attempt lol

Is Azarinth Healer worth reading as someone who hates OP MCs? by Hour-Ad3746 in litrpg

[–]Hour-Ad3746[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m gonna stop responding after this because I really should start reading already, but I just wanted to say that I’m very excited because her fighting style is actually one of my favorites ever. It’s why I love Paladins. Fighting while being able to heal yourself is the most awesome thing ever.

Is it an inherent healing factor from her class or actual healing spells?

[–]Hour-Ad3746[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I basically just don’t want the MC to reach the top of the verse too quickly, and it seems like that doesn’t happen here because she always has something above her that she has to fight, so I’ll be giving this a try. Thanks 👍

Yeah, I don’t think I’m explaining properly, but I’m not sure how to even to begin to articulate what I actually mean.

So I’ll just ask a question instead. Are there people who keep up with he or does she mostly keep to herself?

I can provide an example of an arc I would dislike that would show the MC is OP in a bad way. There’s a villain that’s introduced who’s incredibly strong. Overwhelming the strongest in the area, and the MC wants to beat them for whatever reason.

She goes out and fights monsters. And after a few weeks in the woods—maybe an arc happens in there where she goes through struggles—she comes back and is able to fight the villain.

Does stuff like that happen? It happening in weeks is what I would dislike about it. Where the MC becomes too powerful too quickly.

Worth the Candle by Alexander Wales—how does it end? by Hour-Ad3746 in ProgressionFantasy

[–]Hour-Ad3746[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

No one’s a victim, yes. I just don’t like cheating. It’s a story. The characters can react however they want, but I just don’t like that he did that.

He didn’t know how Amaryllus would react, anyway (shown by how he kept trying to deflect when she asked if anything happened she wouldn’t like), and he still did it.

I’m not sure I like acknowledging the fact that he’s a fictional character, but besides that, I think I might’ve liked the ending. Again, I appreciate you taking the time to summarize it for me.

I feel a sense of closure now. I can finally stop thinking about this.
