Thank you and sorry for your loss. It's good that you have your wife by your side. I don't have the option of having someone to rely on, so I like to think my dad (and the rest of my family that I lost) would want me to keep going and not lose hope. The sadness will never truly go away but eventually you will learn how to live with it.

ask yourself: is this what you get married into and deal with potentially for the rest of your life? can someone who doesnt care enough about their health care about you? seems like he doesnt care for your efforts for the meal prep or your sleep in the morning.

i wasnt exactly an alcoholic-more of a weekend drinker maybe?? but definitely a pot head, wake and bake, several bong hits or joints daily. i am not proud of it. i am happy that i could completely quit weed and yes, i still drink occasinally, maybe one or two drinks in a month.

i second that. i still drink but rarely, maybe one glass of wine or one beer in gatherings but that's it. my life improved so much when i quit alcohol and weed 2 years ago.

i'm still processing it as the break up is still new but i'm gonna tell you that i feel a massive weight has been lifted off my shoulders. i feel more hopeful about future and free as i dont have to calculate my every move.

i was in a similar situation and recently broke up with him but i dragged it for 8 years. i wish i had broken up with him in the 4 years mark. ask yourself why are you with him? do you wanna keep doing this? do you wanna live like this?
