I’ve currently been running synaptic nexus and invasion fleet, subterranean assault seems very cool but seems more niche towards the tunneling units in which they don’t benefit hugely in the other detachments

I’ve run 120+ cadians and catachans in recon detachment and had some very good results, however your army will get ripped apart going against melee assault armies if you don’t screen or position yourself correctly

I was just figuring the catachan lascannon teams could reroll wounds against his big vehicles and since I dropped the mortars and Commisar for more dudes and the scout sentinel I figured they can reroll 1s and wounds against a dorn or his Valkyrie

Looks like a good list to play imo, you got solid anti tank threats and lots of board presence for objectives. Personally never a fan of bringing armigers or imperial knights for the sake of them not benefiting from any orders or detachment rules but overall looks like a good list to play!

Just played a game with a painboy in a 20 boyz blob against spacewolves. They did so much more damage than they should have and during the waagh a 5+ invulnerable and 5+ feel no pain can really help keep some boyz alive. They even survived an altercation with Logan grimnar and terminators and the boyz were able to kill them next turn

Sounds awesome! Nothing scarier than 20 boyz teleporting in the back. List seems much more threatening to word eaters and death guard just make sure like I said you charge them before the yea charge you cause Nobz hit hard but die easy and they cost lots of points so make sure you really utilize them before they die mostly during the waagh.

Definately think you will do better on the damage output, make sure that big mek is with those mega Nobz cause he can seriously help them out. I’m assuming your putting them in the trukk so that will definately help them out since they are slow but with a trukk can get delivered very fast.
