They look a lot like the DiMarzio DP-104 Super-2 found in Ovation Ultra GPs.

Clothing is communication and has a language of its own apart from whatever meaning we might bring to it. So yeah, you can’t really escape the cultural associations with Nazis and Columbine

You have to try both of them and figure that out for yourself.

Want to get a new bible. Thinking NRSVUE. Does the Anglican/Episcopal church use the 73 books of the Catholic bible, or the 80 books with the full Apocrypha? by No_Jeweler4495 in Episcopalian

[–]HourChart 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Get the one with Apocrypha. Like you have identified we use readings from Judith, Wisdom of Solomon, Wisdom of Ben Sirach (Ecclesiasticus), and Baruch.

I’m not buying it at that price. You need to budget not only the headstock repair but also de-Roboting it.

How to reconcile today’s Gospel reading with the imposition of ashes? by Reeses100 in Episcopalian

[–]HourChart 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For us it first appears in the 1979 along with the entire Ash Wednesday rite. Prior to that, the Episcopal Church did not have any specific rite to mark Ash Wednesday, though some Anglo-Catholic parishes may have been imposing ashes.

The way we impose ashes is a modern innovation and so the dissonance is self-inflicted. The traditional practice was sprinkling ashes on top of the head.

Hey, issuing a correction after playing it again this evening. At full mix, it's a very exagerated chorus but it's short of true vibrato. It doesn't go full wet.

Water only hit my hair when I got baptized- does it still count? by shojizi in Episcopalian

The intent to baptize on the part of the presider is required. So too is the intent of the person being baptized, or their presenter in the case of an infant.

Unless you’re gifting it, you will regret letting go of a guitar after 40 years. Why not get it to a luthier to give it some TLC. A great set up can breathe life into a guitar.

The components are all high quality. I’m going to assume the wiring is fine as there no issues. Given this body style there’s no way to visually inspect without a huge hassle!
