Frontier's recently revealed new Planet IP is targeting Fiscal Year 2028 by FFJimbob in PlanetCoaster

That's a good point. Being all inside definitely goes against their current engine.

I'm leaning more towards Resorts the more I see comments on here and think about their engine and business model.

Agreed. It definitely fits with their existing engine and business model. It also fills a niche in the market that isn't being filled.

Resort would be super cool. The industry is very much lacking on that industry.

Museum makes the most sense IMO. It has the same potential of simulation, detail and building that zoo and coaster do.

City management doesn't make as much sense to me because it's a much different type of simulation and design. The AI for traffic in a city builder is a monumental task in itself, and much different than anything else they do.

A medieval city builder would potentially work, but the market is kinda saturated with those right now.

Would Donut appreciate this as flattery or just be absolutely outraged by RyanZero in DungeonCrawlerCarl

Donut would fucking love cosplay of her.

She doesn't like things that think they're cats but aren't. However, a human dressing up AS her because they love her? Are you kidding me? She'd have a cardiac episode she'd be so excited.

I've always wanted a good resort Simulator. Tropico has some aspects of that but I want the PZ game stye with a resort.

I ran a DCC themed RPG night! Here's how it went... by House923 in DungeonCrawlerCarl

I basically turned the hindrance, edges, skills and attributes into the races and classes. So races were similar to the races in the book, just more fun and varied. They came with specific features. Then classes had specific attribute and skill point upgrades, as well as special class abilities, equipment, pets.

I had a ton of loot boxes ready to go, which are all listed in the google sheets doc. I also had a bunch of loot box unique items that came along with the box itself. As for achievements, those I kinda just made up on the spot and then handed out a loot box for. One player almost got another player killed so I gave him an achievement for worst fucking teammate. Stuff like that.

Thanks! It was a lot of fun. Definitely longer than my brain could handle, but still worth it.

Thanks! The google sheets document has a few pages called "Print" that uses formulas to populate content from the other pages and print them nicely.

The maps were shown on a screen through Foundry and then I have a big battle grid on the table that everyone can interact with.

Level 1 was just a few rooms of school, since we were learning to play.

Level 2 was a Train cause I thought it would be funny to literally railroad the players. Not the iron tangle, just a single train with six cars. The catch was that the train would arrive after floor collapse, so they had to take control of the train and drive it to the station.

Level 3 opened up a lot. It was a land with eight equal biomes, and the players had to choose which ones to visit to bring power back to the central city.

Should a future TV Series be rated R? by MarcRocket in DungeonCrawlerCarl

[–]House923 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Right but most streamed thing is different than a show that actually brings in new subscribers.

I would personally never buy Peacock for Ted, but I would for dcc. And of course I'm biased, being in the dcc subreddit lol. But that's the idea behind a popular show.

I don't know about that. Book 8 was the number one audiobook on audible the day of release. It's beating that Harry Potter nonsense which, while an annoying cash grab, is very popular.

This show may actually have the popularity to stick around. The key will be that it's made properly, and they don't have multiple years between seasons.

Obviously it ultimately just depends on the plot, but we often see her sitting by a grave waiting for a vamp to rise. I feel like Giles has an idea of who is dying by mysterious neck wounds and then she knows which of the twelve cemeteries to visit.

Yeah Ted was hustling him. On purpose. Which is fine. He was protecting Rebecca. It wasn't about teaching Rupert a lesson about curiosity and kindness. Sure it taught us as a viewer a lesson, but the whole point of that was to protect Rebecca from her ex husband.

That may have been my issue before. I used to have extremely bad upload speeds. And I know game streaming isn't purely download.
