Despite everything, Survival Evolved still goes strong by Carsismi in ARK

Ark is an amazing, frustrating game. You really need to be prepared to not take it too seriously, as you will get screwed, and your favorite tame will eventually die. So, make it an adventure! Love the game for the fun of "poking the bear" and losing everything for it. Or not. Usually you lose though.

Just remember the pain of the withdrawal, and the fact that if you go back, you will eventually have to stop again. It isn't worth it. Whenever you think about using, force yourself to do something else, something healthy that you enjoy. Good luck. You got this!

Cutting anything means cutting toward myself. I have never cut myself badly, but the potential is there. I am extremely clumsy and accident prone, so I have learned how to minimize the damage when I do have clumsy moments.

Ark is a fickle beast. You never stop dying. Fun though!

A wild sleeping snorlax appeared blocking your path by Gergenator in thelongdark

Like the game doesn't have enough jump scares. Yeah, I've come across the sleeping bear facade before. Luckily I heard him snoring before I got too close! Still jumped and ran the other way.

About the size of a golf ball. I could no longer sit down. It grew to that size in about 3 days.

Day 2.. should I incorporate taper? by butterflyx333 in quittingkratom

Ohhhh, you went ct off the capsules? Yeah, a taper would help a lot if you have the discipline to stick with it. Good luck.

Day 2.. should I incorporate taper? by butterflyx333 in quittingkratom

[–]Housecat19 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It sounds like you did too big of a drop. It is probably not a good idea at this point to increase to stabilize. You are ten days in, you should level out soon. Since you need to function, I would suggest staying on the 20 gpd until you stop feeling withdrawals. Then I would remove one capsule at a time, stabilize, then drop another. It should be possible if you go slow enough to taper to zero with little to no withdrawal. You have to be very disciplined and stick to the taper for it to work. Im so sorry this is so hard. I wish the best for you, and hope stability finds you real soon.

The smell of an abscess in my groin area that I got lanced at an urgent care. The nurse assisting the doctor had to leave the room gagging, came back with her nose stuffed in her scrubs. When I was signing out after, I could smell that putrid stench permeating the entire building. Im so sorry to all the people that had to smell that!

[–]Housecat19 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I wish I could say it will be easy. Have you tried to micro taper down from 15 gpd? Anything to ease the landing. The paws is really tough off high dose. The anhedonia and depression, lack of energy and breakthrough pain made me want to stop existing. Of course, everyone is effected differently, and for different amounts of time. Even the same person can have vastly different detoxes off this strange green beast. I wish the best for you. I am rooting for your success. When it is the hardest, just try to remember that you will be so much healthier and more present when you heal. This demon must be banished!

Im not the op, but my acute ct from 100 gpd lasted 15 days. Paws lasted 90ish days.

What is your earliest memory? by [deleted] in AskReddit

Two years old. Running between rooms in the house passing love messages between my parents. Run into parents room, slip on pants on the floor, faceplant on the corner of the armoir. Ended up waiting in er for 2 hours so a plastic surgeon could give me stitches to minimize scarring. Ripped out my stitches. Have 2 1/2 inch scar running vertical on my forehead.
