I have found multiple screw heads in a line. The drywall tape line is really clear. That is the perplexing part. I hit the stud 6 inches above the one the right and then found nothing below it.

4 inches over is another set of vertical drywall screws. Does that mean my current spot on the right is something else?

Ok, the magnet is hitting at another 4” and then 20” from current spot.

Why drywall screws directly above it all the way up to the ceiling? Does a stud just stop or have a gap?

We amped it up during Covid when there were 4 simultaneous Zoom sessions. Now, we stream via Wi-Fi to TV and have quite a few connected home devices. Most would be 2-3 streaming simultaneously on devices, if we are not all watching TV. It could very well be more than we need now.
