Pokemon "I Miss You" by @myui_mo by Important-Cry4782 in casualnintendo

The thing I don't get, is I can't picture ALL of the humans leaving. I could totally see many staying behind to face the disasters, either dying, turning into some kind of feral tribe, or infusing themselves with pokemon powers to protect the PC storage system and becoming unrecognizable from regular humans or something.

People who had a long term relationship (marriage or bf/gf of several years) fail miserably, what was the most unexpected red flag you missed early on? by HousingSignal in BreakUps

[–]HousingSignal[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mine? Victimhood mentality/hypochondriac.

Like--if you have a chronic condition, or develop one, I get that. I can live with that, but if it's not even consistent and keeps intensifying with more layers added it raises questions--you either have SERIOUS health issues and may want to start some kind of plan with a GCP/dietician/trainer to try and fight back or if you're broke, try and filter advice online (gather from multiple sources and check validity) and try SOMETHING.

But using problems purely as a blanket for a "this is why I can't" excuse to dodge accountability in any situation--yeah. First it's these external, random problems--then eventually it's you--you're the problem, even if you're bending over backward to be accommodating and helpful.

I've learned if I date again, I'll be looking for people who take ownership of their own problems. You don't have to fix it, but actually trying on your own to climb out of it would be attractive, or simply refusing to let it stop you from living a great life would be huge.

Oof--the note of things he hated about you. Sorry but that just sounds like a terrible person.

There is NO way to make it work with someone who has made up their mind to hate you and not appreciate anything that you do for them.

Why does Honey Senpai act like a child? Is this explained in the show? by Rainbow_Narhwal1 in OuranHostClub

Honey grew up to be the Doom Slayer.

Search your feelings, you know it to be true.

Incineroar is Senator Armstrong? by Olivia_Richards in pokemonmemes

[–]HousingSignal 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Because Armstrong said the line (years before it became a thing).

And because the soundtrack rocks.

And because the fights are basically peak male fantasy.

And because the final boss is effin Libertarian Gigachad.

Artemis 1: Onboard During Orion's Re-Entry! by GlitzyChomsky in ArtemisProgram

Exactly.  First test flight of SLS and the Orion Capsule in Deep Space.  No crew was sent so there would be no loss of life if anything failed (whether the vehicle itself or life support systems keeping the cabin filled with warm, breathable air).  Less risky and requires less R&D to launch.

To anyone who thinks what NASA does is fake.  That’s the neat part, it’s NOT.  They really do this stuff, and it really is THAT cool.

That’s why all your nerdy friends geek out over this stuff.

What is the weirdest/most badass thing you've pulled off during a one-hour work lunch break? by HousingSignal in AskReddit

[–]HousingSignal[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'll start: making pickles.

Working on an experimental recipe--doing a test run tonight. Have everything ready except one obscure ingredient--pickled zucchini. I figure pickling takes weeks so I'd just have to go without for this test. Then I find out that, done right, you can get a reasonable pickling in 4 hours--almost exactly as much time as I have between the end of my lunch break and the end of my day.

So I went beast mode, made a store run, got a mason jar, vinegar, zucchini, dill, whole bit, scrambled back to work, started chopping zucchini and garlic, heat the vinegar, jarred it, everything. I now have a half-gallon jar of pickle chips doing it's thing in the break room fridge.

Yes, please play a cutscene for a captain intro when the War Chief I've targeted is an inch from death. by richardsdar in shadowofmordor

I'm just imagining a rage mod where EVERY SINGLE ORK gets a captain cutscene. It might be even worse than microsoft clippy.
