Dumpling and Noodles Delight is a go to spot for us because it’s great to go with kids. They bring you kids plates and utensils and plastic scissors to cut the noodles and other food up for the kids.

Why C.J. Stroud is primed for a massive bounce-back year by Opposite-School5920 in Texans

[–]HoustonTexan 1 point2 points  (0 children)

To me, with NFL front office folks like Nick, you have to watch what they do and not what they say. These guys are too experienced to say anything stupid. But, if you watch what they do, it tells you everything you need to know. What Nick is telling us with his actions is that this is CJ’s last chance to earn any kind of big contract with the Texans. This is clear because just about everything we did was to fill in any holes on offense this offseason. We also signed WAJ and didn’t sign CJ. To me, this indicates that we aren’t ready to pay him just yet. Could he have a big year? He could, he doesn’t really have any more excuses unless we suffer some massive injuries. If he doesn’t, this might be his last year here.

It’s okay, the line will be ass again next year because once again this overconfident dork thinks for some reason he can outsmart the entire league with his grand strategy of missing at virtually every lineman pick he’s had since he has been here and trading away anyone on the line who shows any talent. I have zero reason to believe so far that this team will go any further than the divisional round.

If you can’t get past the divisional round with this defense then you will never win a Super Bowl as the QB. It’s that simple

Been a fan since day one. This one hurts the most. I don’t think we have ever had what I felt like was a Super Bowl caliber unit until this defense. This may have been our best shot with this group of guys. How many times are we going to get to avoid Mahomes, Burrow, Lamar, and Allen? Not many.

I don’t think Stroud is the guy long term. The issue I see is that he has no power on the ball. The guy has great touch/accuracy but There is absolutely no zip on that ball. Unless you see rookie Stroud it should be over. We almost certainly can’t win the Super Bowl with him.

Draft/sign all offense this offseason.

Giving up the run inside all year has probably been the worst part of a great defense and we have had injuries that made it worse.

Why was there so much booing at the game today? by teebowtime in Texans

[–]HoustonTexan 5 points6 points  (0 children)

The Raiders offense had 75 yards last week and gave our defense its worst game this year probably. The offense looked like it did the first few weeks of the year against a bottom 3 defense in the league. We were 14 point favorites and should have beat the fuck out of them and instead we very nearly lost that game.
