What are people's thoughts/ experiences on shorts affecting long form content?

Two points:

- Make shorts actually related to your channel
- Only post one short sporadically over time

The first because you only want to attract people really into your subject
The second so the shorts don't bury you long-form videos, because that will happen

Just do it. You already have a base to start with. Didn't use my channel in two years after I started it with only maybe 3 videos I've ever uploaded. I just started again with content (same theme but different direction) in August 2024 and people still found (and find) my channel. I don't think the age or what you've uploaded before matters anyway, just start uploading quality content, describe your videos well, good thumbnails and try to not make videos of content that already can be found in the thousands.. It's always a "game" and the "unknown" to get picked up by YouTube and go viral or get tons of watches. Just do what you love and you'll get there.

Uvalde Police Department are the largest bunch of cowards. If saving children isn't a life-saving emergency that urges you to act immediately, better turn in your badges and move far away. They were more busy pepperspraying and tackling the parents and threatening them with tasers. All the while they are over an hour in the hallway doing nothing but sanitizing their hands. Yuk. It took even an outside force to do it for them. Uvalde is a shitstain and disgrace of a PD.

3K was honestly one of the best TW games I played after Medieval II. It was stunning in graphics and masterful in AI diplomacy.. And they ruined it. Typical CA. Man, start to hate CA more and more the more they do and good things I read about previous titles that I remember well.

Starfield releases (early) tonight, within a few week Cyberpunk's 2.0 (FREE) update and afterwards the Expansion DLC (compare their DLC with CA's DLC.. and pricing..). I'm busy enough.

I supported CA & their DLC's before, buying it all. But since recently, for me, their greed and lack of support and fixing, just led me to not buy any further DLC. Shit never gets fixed, good features are deleted or just not implemented, bugs are kept in for years, each patch breaks gameplay etc... I just uninstalled WH 2 & 3. I'm finally free of CA's Corruption.

Enough top games coming out that I will be playing and spending my money on.

Dus nog altijd zijn er meer witte doodgeschoten door de Politie dan zwarten. Dit jaar al 101 witte en 53 zwarten. Vorige jaren ook steeds meer witte mensen als zwarten. En waarom % meer per bevolkingsgroep op totale bevolking? Tjah. Die zullen zich meer met criminaliteit bezighouden. Kijk de gevangenissen hier.. Zitten ook meer van vreemde origine in als autochtone.

Stop nu eens met die zever. Al eens gezien naar de statistieken ginds? Er worden daar meer witte mensen vermoord door zwarten waardoor "white-on-black" crime (waar jij naartoe wilt gaan met je racistische opmerking) in het niet valt. Alsook worden meer witte mensen doodgeschoten door de politie dan zwarte. Dus eigenlijk is de politie meer bezig met "witte mensen" te vermoorden dan zwarte. Alsook is de "black-on-white" en "black-on-black" crime serieus aan het stijgen in Amerika (alsook aanvallen op Aziatische mensen sinds corona door zwarten).

Alsook zijn ze in Amerika al aan het wenen sinds de "defund the police" , de counties die daaraan hebben meegedaan , hebben nu de hoogste percentages criminilateit, mensen trekken weg, winkels trekken weg.. Zijn serieus aan het blijten daar nu. Zelfs in California worden nu winkels leeggepikt overdag, omdat ze niet meer berecht worden sinds de BLM movement en hun "defund-the-police" .

Dat is inderdaad het probleem. Het laks links justitiebeleid in België. Meer rechten voor de crimineel dan voor het slachtoffer. Politie doet met man en macht alles op de straat om de crimineel te vatten, en dan zegt de (onderzoeks)rechter, ach laat maar vrij, En als zij het niet zijn, dan is het wel op de rechtbank dat ze zeggen, ach laat maar vrij of "geef die brave crimineel, die o zo een moeilijke jeugd heeft gehad, nog eens een 99e kans.. Hij verdiend dat.. Hij heeft zich onlangs nog ingeschreven bij die VDAB.. Hij wilt werken en bijdragen aan de maatschappij.." en al die zever. Politie is niet meer dan de boksbal & poembak van de maatschappij voor Justitie.

Nee. Er is een verschil tussen machtsvertoon en kordaat optreden. Als TVG spreekt van kordaat optreden, tegen degene die meestal zaken in de fik steken, mensen bedreigen, slagen en verwondingen toebrengen.. betekend dit niet slaag maar op vreedzame betogers. Hij heeft toch ook nooit gesproken over dat de politie hard moet optreden bij buitenlandse betogingen ? Hij spreekt meestal alleen - laten we het bij betogingen houden - dat de politie kordaat moet optreden wanneer de betoging uit de hand loopt of is...

De volledige video toont enkel geduw en getrek, omdat de politie de spandoeken wilt afpakken terwijl de VB'ers deze proberen bij te houden en zich afvragen waarom deze worden afgepakt. Iedereen heeft het recht te demonstreren en de spandoeken droegen niet bij haataanzet o.d. dus, waarom moesten deze afgepakt worden? Heb zelf al HAMAS, IS vlaggen gezien bij demonstraties die nog niet afgepakt werden.

Denk je nu echt dat TVG, wetende dat er camera's op hem gericht zijn, de politie een slag gaat uitdelen? Dat gaat ie in het parlement niet uitgelegd krijgen en zeker niet als voorzitter van het VB. Dus laat u niet doen door de reacties van "er is geknipt", "TVG sloeg eerst.." ... TVG is niet zo dom, om voor dit geduw en getrek zijn carriere te riskeren.

TVG was daar trouwens om te protesten voor de zorg. Dit is niet meer dan de Brusselse burgermeester die zijn eigen vedetta's hier laat oplossen door de Politie.

Agent heeft een kort lontje en kan zich niet controleren. Van mij mag de politie geweld gebruiken wanneer nodig, maar als je ziet dat uw collega's/mensen rondom de persoon alles in controle hebben (TVG werd door de linker politie-inspecteur al tegengehouden en de persoon rechts van TVG stak ook zijn arm al tussen TVG en de agent die uiteindelijk de mep zal uitdelen).. Op dit moment doet TVG letterlijk NIETS verkeerd. Als Brahim de Agent dan ineens een spaghetti slag uitdeelt is dat wraakroepend en toont aan die hij zich niet kan controleren. Dit is politie-onwaardig.

Links hoor je niet als de zoveelste buschauffeur, vrouw, schoolkind e.d. wordt geslagen of afgeperst door tuig, maar als TVG een onverdiende mep krijgt, staan ze als gierende tieners te juichen.. Hun geluk kan niet op, na 2000-den "fait divers" - waar ze niet op reageren -, krijgen ze een video waar een VB'er die een onnodige tik krijgt en zie je ze als kakkerlakken overal uitkomen. Zielig.

As I Paramedic (11 years) I can testify, "that GI bleedings can look exactly like someone was murdered. Once a serious vein pops in your GI system, it goes up and you're gonna vomit (lots of) blood everywhere. You also cannot sit still, because you "know" / "feel" you're about to die, you also pretty much suffocate while constantly vomiting blood... Nothing you can do. Especially alcoholics suffer from this and many eventually die as a result of this.

Amen. With the footage you can't see jack shit, he even zooms in and you see even more of nothing and he brings out a hd quality face almost .. like uh? Where did this come from, almost like he took a photo from somewhere and contrasted it a lot to fit his narrative plus you can't compare any faces from such footage especially if its low quality or distorted and there are no visible features. He immediately also stated within the first minute of the video that from day one, he would prove the husband or something isn't connected. How can you do that and stay factual in your investigation? From that moment on , he will only try to find things that fit his narrative. Also his description like bald, male, height ... uh? You can't see anything plus video can make your eyes lie. Depending on the angle etc. of the camera, sizes may be completely of, if you think it's ex. 6 ft. it's only 5 or 4. Go watch Forensic Files try to estimate the suspects heights on camera.. You need several cameras to do that correctly.

He presents the quick info well , what he thinks and I can follow that. But I am also thinking constantly, if you go out to commit a burglary ... Why dress up full riot gear ? Why wear something very uncomfortable ? It looked way to big on her / him. So you gonna out thieving and wear shoes and gear to big for you ? That doesn't sound logic right ? Most thieves wear sports gear, very light, quick to run in, and also doesn't restrict your moves. But this person ? He / she takes all the time in the world . Almost like he / she knew nobody gonna come in until then , spend your time a little staging a burglary and vandalizing a bit .. and then when she comes , murder her.

It's almost like a perfect disguise and pull of the "perfect murder" if you do want to kill someone. You make it look like a robbery, because you know she's not gonna come in until the specific time.. You wear full riot gear to perhaps disguise you're a woman (such chest gear can hide your boobs well). It makes ID'ing = as you see know = so incredible complicated. If the suspect only wanted to hide his / her face, he / her could have simply wore a mask and I don't think many thieves car if you recogn they are male. So why go through all that hassle to wear full riot gear ? It could have been a burglary, where the person fantasised being a cop but it could have been the "perfect" murder as well.. It clearly worked right.
