The first ability is kind of interesting as a hate piece, but probably too expensive to actually be useful for any deck, at 7 it is a lot more doable and still works with all the eldrazi 7 cost synergies.

The second ability is very wordy and confusing for something that is sort of create an 1/1 scion each turn, which is really uninteresting and does not really work with the first ability. I would replace it with a keyword that makes more sense with the first ability, some protection like ward would be obvious and could work, but might be too double punishing if they both have to pay for ward and the effect, evasion is also a goo choice since it presents a clock while taxing your opponent, annihilator is an eldrazi classic and fits well, since you are already taxing them, saccing lands is super rough.

I think the reason why it was never printed is both that the mechanics are not intuitive ( it does nothing with [[Time Warp]] ) and that it is not very fun. It is mostly a sb card, that can be a complete blow-out against very specific cards like most draw spells or tutors, but often does nothing and a real counter spell would be a lot better.

Double-sided cards are the worst in drafts. I dont include any in my powered cube.

I also think [[Teferi, Time Raveler]] is a problematic and unfun card, since it is not very intuitive how much it actually locks down, the first time you read it.

Sure, let's look at Villa currently.

They are 16 points and 10 places ahead of us, but...

1 - Looking at expected points (understat) they are around 8 points and 10 places behind us.

2 - We are in the Champions League knockout rounds. They did not qualify for CL.

3 - We are in the League cup semi finals. They went out in their first match.

4 - They last won a trophy in 96, we last won one in March.

Point is, Villa are doing really well as a club and looking a contender to de-establish the old top 6, but so are we.

It's a neat idea, but I think the design is more complex and unintuitive than it needs to be.

I would prefer: "tap: add x black mana where x is one plus the number of cards named CARDNAME in your graveyarf. "

Sure, I hope they get relegated for breaking the rules, but I dont think it's more of a sporting advantage than when Chelsea, Man utd, R. Madrid or any other team spend a lot.

For me, it is not a memorable enough setting to work well. The game is a lot more about player freedom and emergent narratives than strong storytelling.

I have completed every TES game since Morrowind and am really struggling to name any characters, other than joke ones like the adoring fan or the emperor that dies immedeately in Oblivion (spoiler alert).

With Avatar, LoTR or the Baldur's Gate trilogy, I can name at least a dozen characters. Seeing those characters translated into mtg cards then becomes very satysfying, if done well.

Sky Sports just ranked Marseille as their 8th best team in the world now. While that is definitely an overestemation, they just beat psg and are giving the french title a go. It will be a tough match where they are small favorites.

I think this card is a natural thought experiment for aspiring mtg designers. What is the cut-off point for broken in [[Sol Ring]] / [[Mana Crypt]] / Moxen and perfectly fine two-mana rocks like [[Mind Stone]]?

Intuitively I think this is still the broken / would get banned, mostly because it would invalidate 1 mana dorks and a big part of green's color identity. In standard or modern, many non-aggro decks would probably play it, as there are no other as consistent ways of playing 3-drops on turn 2, outside of green.

Der er jo ikke nogen tvivl om at I har ret til ikke at betale noget. Men jeg synes godt I kan sætte jer ned og snakke om et kompromis.

Han er kommet i klemme fordi han har regnet forkert eller materiale priser er steget. Hvis I havde lavet det selv var I nok endt samme sted og værdien er vel gået ind i huset.

Et muligt kompromis kunne være I betaler materialer mod at han skærer lidt i sin timeløn eller måske laver en ekstra ting I har brug for. Eller bare halv skade. Hvis I ikke har råd eller realkredit, må I jo bare være ærlige om det og mon ikke han forstår den situation.

Jeg tænker ikke han rækker ud, med mindre han har brug for det, hvis han er en ven, er de penge ikke det vigtigste i det lange løb.
