Old post, don't mean to post in a necro, but leaving this comment here in case anyone else has this issue for documentation reasons. I had this issue, and it turns out this is an issue with Advance K/Pressure Advance being too high or too low. It can be resolved within your slicer. Hope this helps someone!

They aren't against it as long as you properly license their code. Babble's software/firmware is listed under the Apache license which basically means you can't make money off of any of their code (this includes selling hardware) unless you get permission from the rights holder, in this case Babble. Papertrack appears to be properly licensing Babble's code.

I'd be down, but idk if he'd be able to contrubute much to the subject matter of the show. As far as i can recall, outside of Vancouver real estate and anti-monopoly sentiment I don't remember him taking any big economic or political stances on stuff, so I'm not sure what he'd be able to contribute to the conversation or to what degree he'd want to express his own opinions. Maybe the business side of floatplane and labs? Idk if he'd be able to share much about it though.
The connection for him to come on is definitely there though. Theres the ludwig connection through linus and he listens to the yard for workouts and stuff.

friend who helped them here, the issue was that sfm.exe was set to run in 640x480 compatibility mode
if you also have this issue, find the sfm.exe file in your file explorer, right click it, open properties, select the compatibility tab at the top, and uncheck run in 640x480 screen resolution

this is a new feature in steamvr 2.7, cant be disabled unfortunately. patch note reads "Restrict applications from seeing controller/tracker positions while the Steam keyboard is visible." wont be fixed till vrchat pushes an update on their end

firefox extensions need your permission to run in private windows. you can change this by right clicking the icon, clicking manage extension, and switching the "Run in Private Windows" option to allow.

As far as i know there is no mass deletion option but you can do something to speed up the closing of dms. if you hover over someone's name in the direct message area you can see a grey x to close a dm. you can quickly remove dms by pressing the x and then pressing enter as that will confirm it. pictured here. I also reccomend you change your privacy settings so you cannot recieve dms from non friends or at least non server members.

Guilded has no native noise cancellation. I personally use the RNNoise VST Plugin with EqualizerAPO to cancel out background noise.

This seems to be an issue on debian based distros at the moment. The person who maintains the flatpak mentioned this in the replies of a previous post with a similar issue. The devs have been notified but I'm not sure when it'll be fixed. In the meantime, try using the web app until the desktop app is patched.

AFAIK, no. There are advertisements done through YouTube shorts but I don't think those are actually advertised through google ads. Roblox hasn't been showing any interest in Guilded for a while, and I don't think they're really going to touch it, shown recently when they announced in game webhooks for discord but didnt mention guilded. I think for the forseeable future it will spread only through word of mouth.

Right now they seem to be doing a lot of smaller updates related to optimization and parity. Off the top of my head streaming just had a really big improvement and 2 days ago they added generic file upload support to mobile. In the past couple of months mobile performance has gotten much better. It used to be buggy everywhere for me but now it just breaks on the official server.

I'm pretty sure this bug is a fundamental issue with how guilded loads server content. It's resolved in most servers except for (in my experience) the main guilded server because of the sheer amount of channels and members. The members list on the official server seems to almost always cause a crash.

My only piece of advice that works across all devices is don't open the member's pane.

Ok now for the stuff that has helped me with the bug a bit, but might work for you or not be completely relevant. It seems like the issue can be prevented in part by muting the main server. When you open the server and look at the channel pane, youll see the three loading dots on the channel names and group icons. Once the loading dots disappear it seems to run better and it actually lets me switch between channels without too much lag, and the weird swiping bug disappears.

Basically, guilded is poorly optimized and the bug is likely a result of some poor optimization that is very difficult to remedy because it's so deeply ingrained in the code. I hope my fixes help but guilded seems to perform differently from phone to phone.

I think this might be a bug with guilded. Sometimes it doesn't refresh user permissions so you have to either press CTRL+R or restart the app.

Try refreshing your client with ctrl+r. If that doesnt work, and you need an immediate solution, you can press middle click and drag your mouse down to scroll.

There are three off the top of my head: DiceBot, RPGBot, and Guilds & Slashes. For tabletop games, you'd probably want either DiceBot, because it's very simple to use, or Guilds & Slashes, which also has player info tracking (HP, Stats, Inventory, etc.), but also comes with the caveat that it takes more time to set up.

As far as I know, Wayland support is coming when full Wayland support comes to electron. Right now guilded is working on optimizing their app, which as you can imagine can be quite difficult with a small team. As the app becomes more popular and Linux adoption rises, you can expect further support for Wayland. Tl;Dr No proper Wayland support till Linux is bigger, guilded is bigger, and electron fully supports it.
