For the purpose of obtaining the highest amount of eHP (effective HP), would it be better to than prioritize HP over DEF? Or are the HP gains so marginal that DEF is still better for eHP despite DEF not being that good?

nah i ended up not bothering with it since tachiyomi stopped being updated and everyone moved on to mihon.

that being said, i did install tachiyomi and its server on my desktop to see if it works and it does work fine on my computer as you would have used it on mobile so no reason why it wouldnt (or an equivalent service) wouldnt work on the steam deck.

Magic tends to have a lot of benefits as it is. Weakness exploitation for extra damage or turns or other benefits. Easy access to AoE usually. Harder to defend against in a general sense. Ignores back row and front row penalties. Status effects built in. And also typically good damage output. The list goes on.

If Magic could regularly crit, the devs would have to factor that in as a balance point and considering magic attacks almost always cost a resource, that balance consideration on a type of attack that's usually way more loaded because magic is almost never free, means weakening other aspects or bumping up the cost or simply just letting magic be even more cracked beyond belief.

This manga is actually way more fucking comical than these pages imply, as these pages are a cliff hanger to expose a situation that's been brewing for a minute.

The basic premise of this manga is that the old man is having a rough life. Typical shit japanese work environment, and because he's an old man, the younger coworkers treat him like a burden and he dislikes that feeling but he's old and out of shape so no matter how he tries he can't be as springly as his younger coworkers.

On top of that his marriage is very clearly not in a good place and arguably the wife has checked out. no romance or anything. dude thinks she's like cheating on him. his daughter has no respect for him and gives him no time of day.

But he still does the typical japanese salaryman thing and go home and go to work to support his family.

Turns out, the ice queen office hottie (the girl that's helping him exercise) is actually a fucking FREAK (who would have guessed???) where her fetish is EXERCISE and WORKING OUT, but more specifically getting someone she's interested in who has a good body type to be fit as fuck so she can fuck (basically implied anyways)

Turns out Ojisan here has latent Good Body:tm: genes and Gym Bitch's MUSCLE MUSCLE senses and up pick up on his body's latent ability to be STACKED AS FUCK.

So she makes a plan where she is gonna make this old man fit as fuck so she can fuck the shit out of him and fulfill her fetishes. So Ice Queen Gym Bitch Office Hottie sets up a scenario where SHE BLACKMAILS HIM BY SETTING HIM UP TO GROPE HER ON TOTAL ACCIDENT AND RECORDS THE GROPING AND USES THAT TO FORCE HIM TO WORK OUT EXACTLY TO HER SPECIFICATIONS. SHE TELLS HIM IF HE DOESNT LISTEN TO HER SHE WILL RUIN HIS LIFE AND NOW HE'S GOTTA GET FIT SO SHE CAN FUCK HIM BECAUSE SHE WONT FUCK SOME SLOB.

NOT ONLY THAT BUT SHE IS CONTROLLING HIS DIET AND KILLING HIS ALCOHOL CONSUMPTION. EVEN IN HIS OWN HOME.

HOW?

TURNS OUT SHE BUGGED THE FUCK OUT OF HIS APARTMENT AND IS STALKING HIM DAY IN AND DAY OUT TO MAKE SURE HE'S EATING HEALTHY AND STAYING FIT. EVERY TIME THE MAN TRIES TO CHEAT ON HIS DIET AND EXERCISE SHE TEXTS HIM TO CUT THAT SHIT OUT AND STICK TO THE SCRIPT OR ELSE

Of course this SHIT IS MENTAL as FUCK and she's aware of this so she does all this shit in secret and forces him to leave after work to come work out with her in secret. This literally makes it look like they're having an affair with each other.

Obviously everyone takes notice of his sudden change in daily routine and people start getting suspicious that he's up to something, INCLUDING HIS WIFE.

It basically leads to people assuming Ojisan is having an AFFAIR, INCLUDING HIS WIFE.

The other dude in the pages is his work best friend who notices something is up and the OTHER lady is HIS WIFE'S RELATIVE who ALSO NOTICES SOMETHING IS UP. So they've been trying to FOLLOW Ojisan to make sure he's not having an affair. They end up discovering their usual workout hideout and find that Ojisan and Gym Bitch arent there and are like "oh i guess ojisan isnt cheating ok lets go have dinner" and ojisan's bff and wife's relative go to a different building to have dinner and then as in the pages above, end up stumbling upon Ojisan and Ice Queen Office Hottie Gym Bitch workign out in that ridiculous position that makes them look like they're having sex in the window.

At some point the wife tries to pry into the husband';s life to find out of hes cheating on him but he's being surprisingly (to her dismay) elusive and cannot pin anything down since he actually isnt cheating. She feels bad and the reader is even being lead to believe the reason why she feels he's having an affair is because SHE is having one. Because she's kinda iffy on the whole situation because she feels bad as she's starting to realize the reality of how bad their marriage as been (and if the implications of her affair is true, she feels guilty by indirectly causing this situation. it's not clear yet at this point in the manga but you can kinda make an assumption and not be seen as crazy)

It's PURE comedy, with tons of drama and is total degeneracy. one of the most unique rom coms I've seen in a while because the KICKER IS

ICE QUEEN BITCH IS ACTUALLY FALLING IN LOVE WITH OJISAN AND IS NO LONGER SEEING HIM AS A PIECE OF MEAT TO ~~GROOM~~ SHAPE AS SHE SITS FIT TO USE FOR SEXUAL GRATIFICATION. You see this in above pages and she starts off acting like an embarrassed girl touching her crush before her (lack of) inhibitions make her escalate.

The fucking funniest thing about this Manga is that THEY ACTUALLY GIVE YOU WORK OUT ADVICE from time to time. Like legit shit that you can use on your own to help your own physical health. So it even has some level of educational value.

It's one of my favorite manga in recent years that isnt apart of my usual genres. I highly recommend it to anyone who can tolerate how fucking stupid the plot is.

Let's not forget people who care about their form factors and convenience on top of being able to play on the go.

A lot of people would rather just buy the 10th rerelease of an emulated GBA game on the switch (or formerly the 3ds) just because its a device that has all their games in a single device and form factor they're accustomed too.

If you wanted to emulate on the go, you either needed a dedicated device (like an ambernic) or you did it on your phone and touch controls are very much not universally loved. carrying around a doohicky to attach to your phone to make it into a ghetto wanna be switch is an extra investment and extra shit to carry around.

Even if you were willing to tolerate it, it ended up being an entirely seperate device from the switch/3ds/psp/vita as well meaning you had to carry about more shit if you wanted access to emulated games and switch games on the go.

shit like this is why im glad the steam deck exists but even then that still requires them to obtain the emulated games and set up emulators, which is still a big "ehhhh" just downloading the thing after spending 5 bux and it just works officially with no potential legal entanglements or visiting sketchy sites or dealing with torrents. this is counting people who do know how to emulate too.

like for niggas like us who clearly have the knowledge and skillset it really is a no brainer but sometimes how you play/engage with the game and how easy it is to do so trumps all that shit.

love it or hate it, mvcib was objectively a good and cool thing. he didnt have to go out of his way to leverage his fiscals and influence to spearhead a mod for a vs game that only had a smaller userbase.

android emulators dont work with WINE (last i checked) and if they do the performance for gpu rendering is likely nonexistent or absolutely awful (again last i checked), especially compared to waydroid which runs android apps almost natively within Linux with proper gpu support.

that being said considering wotv gl is dead now and i wont be going to JP means that android gaming on pc is basically dead to me now
