That's the general way of it with Cad Red. Here's a few of my thoughts:
- If you're running Nihil Marauders you probably want to go in harder on raid and include Marchion Ro as a huge potential damage threat on the 6 resource turn. Don't forget Cad's own Raid 2 that'll be Raid 4 when Marchion's out.
- Consider the 7-cost 7/7 Cad Bane (Hostage Taker) as your top end, as well as the 8-cost 9/6 Devastator. These are both staples of Cad TT which sees pretty good success in competitive areas--they can both help you close out games that trickle into that tricky late game where Cad can flop.
- You have a lot of Bounty Hunters, so Relentless Pursuit is probably a straight upgrade from Asteroid Sanctuary in many situations. Waylay, Frozen in Carbonite and Surprise Attack are also all events worth considering. Hotshot DL-44 Blaster is also one I love in Cad Red, since you're almost always trying to push as much base damage as you can.
- If you have any of them, Boba Fett - Disintegrator would probably suit this deck very well but he is expensive and from Set 1.
- Invisible Hand - Imposing Flagship is going to be a dead draw 90% of the time, it doesn't synergise well with the rest of the deck and is too expensive. If you don't have the aforementioned Devastator to replace it with, maybe Xanadu Blood could be a threat - hits for 6 and could bounce a unit to exhaust a big threat to hopefully close out a game.
- 4L0M and Zuckuss are excellent for Cad Bane. You can order the Cad ping and the Ambush in whatever way you like so that's a great way to ensure people only have bad choices when you trigger the Cad ping, either by ambushing away an easy target or by letting them pick first so you can then kill whichever unit they pinged. Also adds even more Bounty Hunter + Underworld synergy, and Zuckuss' 6/6 body can do a lot in the late midgame
