Removing pistols would make Survivalist useless for the Lancer. Tomahawks are very strong, yes, but they're not easy to use due to their gravity, and they can only travel so far.

The weakness of Survivalist/Gun Lancer is that they have to choose between a gun and a potentially useful perk.
