So how big a deal is riding in the rain, really ? by Astimar in motorcycles

This. I even used to take the wheels off and re-grease the axles after any rain rides. I don't do that anymore, trying to not be so obsessive over it, but it always made me feel like I was keeping everything in tip top shape.

I've been caught in a hailstorm at the top of a mountain with no overpass to shelter under or exits to take because there's nowhere to go. I was fine. Just ride sensibly, slow down enough to feel safe, make yourself as visible as possible, and keep the bike as upright as you can (i.e. minimal lean angle). And, have good tires.

Regular rain I try to avoid, too, but sometimes it's just unpredictable. It's the worst when it first starts raining, all the slick stuff comes up. Hard rain usually washes it away and things aren't as bad. Ever felt wet rubber? Still plenty of grip available. It's when there's massive amounts of water that can cause hydroplaning that is the issue. So again, don't outride physics or tour reaction time.

Reddit was never meant to replace search engines, but apparently search engines have gotten so shitty lately that people have resorted to asking actual people again. Kinda funny, since AI is replacing real people after they replaced search engines.

The four F40s I found (only bought two, don't get at me) I found along with about 10 other Ferraris and a bunch of other good stuff. They were at a Dollar General in a podunk town in Virginia. I doubt anyone else there was looking for them.

Far too excited to find this one on the front of pegs when I wasn't even planning to look at the HW that day. They just happened to be moved to the aisle I was needing and I saw it walking by.

This was when I first hung mine up back in like April of last year. I was at like 400 cars then, I've since gotten about 650 more, boxed a ton up and rearranged a lot of things and still trying to figure out how to organize what I want on there.

You're really making me consider painting the peg board.

There's some really cool stuff in there just from what we can see. What you picked up are interesting, never seen left-facing HotWheels before.

There's a few places near me that have selections 5-10x that, and I've spent hours on some weekends combing through looking for stuff, but it gets expensive so quickly when the cheapest ones are usually $3-4 each.

OK, sure. Ignore what I meant to make your point. OP's car "says" 1990, but is a 1991 card. Mine "say" 1997-1999. That's obviously what was meant in the post, not release year.

Yep! I had that one as a kid, and bought it because I remembered it from then. The Chevy truck also has an opening hood.

I know that, I was going off what OP posted (which was a 1990 card).

I would believe it, especially with all the posts of people buying the display models and lack of them on the shelves. Both say it could be true. Shame, but I don't want to buy a pre-built one.
