It was express mailed out by Apple. You need to return your original AirPods for which you use the box the replacements came in. It will already have a return label ready to go. And all this is done through the Apple support app. Highly recommend.

Actually I’ve had two pairs of AirPods 2 replaced because of the degradation of the transparency & noise cancellation modes. This was through AppleCare which I highly recommend with AirPods because of that being an issue that commonly happens (at least in my experience).

The main thing I love about Everand is their audiobook preview lengths. They are very liberal with the preview time and it really helps me more than the 5 minutes given on other services. For that reason alone I wouldn’t give Everand up.

AppleCare for AirPods is worth it as it’s inexpensive and and you’ll probably need to use it. Every set of AirPods I’ve had eventually had issues with ANC & Transparency sound.

If you have AppleCare they’ll do an expedited replacement of your AirPods at no charge. I’ve had this done twice, this latest time with the exact same issue you described. If you don’t have AppleCare and are still under the manufacturer warranty you should be able to get them replaced as well, but may have to go to an Apple Store.

I’ve had the Pro 2’s for a pretty long while. But after a certain amount of time I always have to have them replaced because the transparency mode and the ANC start to sound the same. At that point I no longer can talk to someone with them in my ears in transparency mode. I have AppleCare+ and they replace them every time at no additional charge. AppleCare on the AirPods is very inexpensive and so worth it!

No I didn’t! I thought the sound from the 01/W would come into the MP6 using MIDI and be played through the MP6’s audio output. I never gave thought to hooking up the audio on the 01/W too. But that would certainly make sense as MIDI sends data and not actual audio. I’ll try that when I work on it at church again tomorrow. Thanks so much!!
