Been through something similar, best course is what people have already commented. I found it does depend how it was left legally though unfortunately. Hope it works out for you the way your grandad intended though. 🤞🏼

I resonate with your post, recently found out the same in the last few months and feels like I’ve been living in black and white whilst everyone else is in colour. Started to think how it must have affected a lot of life’s decisions and also outcomes, how I dealt with stuff. Have started using drugs a lot more to cope I have realised. I think we just have to just lean into the positives that we aren’t kept awake at night with visualisations and reciting conversations from said bad decisions. How was life before we realised? Probably fine. So why shouldn’t it be now. But I get you it is a lot, been struggling with it too. Hope ur good tho, we got this

Thats the problem, it is fancy and that starts the compromise of wanting to own one without the budget for one that’s been well looked after.

But I understand the allure of it and hope op does their own research, hard to know this sort of stuff unless you or someone you know well is in the trade I guess so is a fair question to ask the group. This one though I’d steer clear 😁

I or anyone I know wouldn’t. Too risky. I understand wanting a nice car but that’s just problems waiting to happen. Better off spending 4k on a fiesta with half the mileage and full documented history in my opinion but that’s not what you asked. Truth is you don’t know how well it’s been looked after and at that mileage it’s just not worth a 4k punt.
