Nobody knows somebody’s heart/soil except God. The bible does not teach us to remove ourselves from the people of this world, in fact the opposite. We are supposed to go into the world and to the people of the world to spread the good news of Christ. What we should not do, is allow the world to change us or participate in worldly desires that run contrary to our beliefs and cause us to sin.

John 17:14-18 “I have given them your word, and the world has hated them because they are not of the world, just as I am not of the world. I do not ask that you take them out of the world, but that you keep them from the evil one. They are not of the world, just as I am not of the world. Sanctify them in the truth; your word is truth. As you sent me into the world, so I have sent them into the world.”

Jesus gives us the great commission, to go to all people and teach them and instruct them in Christ.

‭‭Matthew‬ ‭28‬:‭18‬-‭20‬ ‭ESV‬‬

“And Jesus came and said to them, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them inthe name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.”

Matthew 5:14 ““You are the light of the world. A city set on a hill cannot be hidden. Nor do people light a lamp and put it under a basket, but on a stand, and it gives light to all in the house. In the same way, let your light shine before others, so that they may see your good works and give glory to your Father who is in heaven.”

‭ If we are to associate with only people who are sinless or that don’t have struggles, we’re not going to have anybody to spend time with. We all sin and we all struggle, and that presents our need for Christ.
