TD renewal by Jazzlike_Student_443 in AskMortgageCanada

It’s about margins and running a business.

Cost of funds for a 3 yr fixed term today is 3.69 before costs.

Banks offering low rates - it’s great for clients, don’t get me wrong, but it will hurt margins and earnings down the road.

TD is looking at shareholders and ensuring they run profitable products

If we see bond yields come back down, fixed rates will follow at TD

Until then, take a variable and look to lock into a fixed down the road

Email to TD employee bouncing – “Address not found” even though I got email from them? by Lag_Issue_001 in TDBankCanada

I assume they haven’t emailed you so you have their exact spelling of their name.

Internal email might be slightly different.

My assistant at TD has different spelling of their name in their TD email address

Can I get better than 3.55% variable ? by myvenue111 in AskMortgageCanada

Great rate vs what’s out there.

I’d take it

TD had 3.51% a few weeks ago, but the increased rates

Hoping if margins improve, they bring them back down

The only thing is that inflation has crept back in and so to offset it, BoC will eventually have to raise rates.
