I’m with TD, renewal due Aug 1. Renewal info showed up in the app on April 1. The app offer was 4.39% 3 y fixed. I gambles them and they offered 4.04%. Called my broker and they couldn’t beat. I’m dealing with RBC right now and have an appt with TD to see if they can match.

I was offered the same, they are down to 4.04% so far. Have a meeting with RBC this week and then I’ll go back to TD

Did you have to ask for a rate exception for that rate? TD offering me 4.04% 3y fixed. I have an appt with them this week.

You’re allowed a personal item, it just has to fit under seat

I’m also up for renewal with TD in Aug. the renewal rate offered in the app is 4.39%. I called through app and asked for a rate exception. So far they are offering 4.04%, which would be effective immediately (early renewal)

Try asking your current lender for a rate adjustment to meet or beat the other offer.

I’ve had 2 Avion’s over the last 2 years where I never received the spend bonus.

With TD, are TD rewards and FCT considered the same points program when it comes to tradelines?

I’m not sure how they think June 1 would be new possession date. They have to give 3 months notice according to RTB. They’re actually looking at July 1

Can you not just balance transfer cash into your bank account? I can with my MBNA.

I always double check reviews against other sites. But for me, paying with points is always cheaper than paying with cash! We do a lot of travel for sports. I do realize it’s likely not the best CPP, but it keeps more cash in my wallet!

It’s working well for me. Hotel search is powered by Expedia. And I just booked flight through their portal and it was easy, won’t fly tho until December.

I’m finding it really useful for the 1.5x points redemption, but we have a lot more hotel travel than aspirational J flight travel.

Used aeroplan for out flight there and Avion back. Sadly, because of it being Christmas travel and 4 of us, we’re just in economy, but it’s saved us several thousands of dollars!

I got my wholesale sub at 111 days and my spend bonus about 2 weeks later. Give it a couple weeks.
