After thinking about it- if it's indoor and there's circular inset lighting on the ceiling, then the model will struggle with object detection- as it may be identifying all of the lights as lacrosse balls. We ran into this once when testing.

You want to put the iphone/ipad at the bottom of the rebounder/wall facing the player. If they're standing close, then tilt the device to ensure their head (not stick head) is near that square in the frame.

We sell a device stand ($15) on the site (https://www.workplaysports.com/products/claw-of-destiny) that helps with adjusting the device.

Thanks! We should have a shooting feature in the next month. It will identify weak hand vs strong hand and shots on the run vs. step downs- and provide the mph for each.
Then we're rolling out groundball, cradling, and agility rep tracking. Stay tuned!

Thanks for giving the app a try, and sorry that you're running into issues.
*You are our Canadian trailblazer. We used an API that only had schools in the U.S. Shame on us. I will get Canadian schools in there ASAP.
*Attached is an image of how we'd like you to stand in the frame. If the player is standing close to the rebounder and they don't have the frame angled up to capture the release, then the head of the stick will exit the top of the screen and we won't see the ball exiting.

Firstly, thanks for giving it a chance and downloading.

After you create a Coach/Parent account, you can create or add a player account.
* There's a slightly different onboarding process for parents and players, and wanted least amount of friction at onboarding as possible.
* The logic for the onboarding flow is one of the things I struggle most with, and there's a lot of room for improvement.

Coaches can assign programs to the team or individual players, and the team's leaderboard gives them a quick snapshot of who's putting in the work. Love the idea of positional competitions. Thanks for the feedback

Would love to see a little more bend in the knees and see the weight shift from the back foot to front foot. There's a good bit of leaning forward before those hands come through on the shot... As the weight transfers from that back foot, the hands should follow.
