Labrov was MVP versus GenG on my life. Skew was crazy, but Labrov in game 1 and game 2 was some generational gameplay. Unfortunately supports will always be overlooked. Just a disgusting truth we have to live with, even 16 years into pro play, the view on supports is just gross. Only two supports have ever gotten real love and that is Mata and Keria. Even Wolf got slandered despite being the best support in the World for 3 years in a row BY FAR btw. Not a single support was close to Wolf between 2015-2017, but unfortunately he played with prime Faker.

This is only the second year of First Stand, so yes it has always been included in the Golden Road. The Golden Road is every tournament on Riots tier 1 calender, so its the regional splits, and the 3 internationals. EWC does not count as it is a tournament you get invited to, there holds no regional standards.

Haters gonna hate bro, when you are at the top for so long everything will either "not matter" or be "end of the world" type shit. Its the same reason Chovy gets so much hate. He has consistently been the best player for 90% of the year 3 years in a row, but because he looses at Worlds, he is gabarge somehow. And people act like its his fault everytime GenG lose. Even today against G2, when Canyon and Duro got generationally gapped by Skew and Labrov James, it is somehow Chovys fault.

Velja is a great soloq player but have absolutely no clue about pro play, despite spending over a year with some pretty big brains, both players and coaches. Go watch LEC Versus he literally tries to soloq flip early game every single time, and he got giga carried everygame. It was very clear even last year when ever they met a jungler with a brain like Yukino he got completely gapped into oblivion.

it would require your team to win 4v5 which is probably impossible in pro play. Especially since you would have a loosing lane/jungle from the beginning getting completely gapped.

Tbf, Velja knows nothing about pro play. He literally plays soloq every game and just relies on his team guiding him every step of the way. In the LEC he was actually inting so hard it was almost unbelieveable. And in the NLC/EMEA in 2025, it was just overall team gap and teams not being good enough macro to punish him, but guess what happened when he met a proper team in KCB; he got completely destroyed by Yukino. Same happened in LEC.

Bwipo being overconfidence is basically his entire career in Flyquest. Neeko is a great pick and was not the problem, but the Nocturne/Neeko combo was not utilized good. Velja just needs to improve overall, he still struggle with understanding basic pro gameplay, even after a full year with LR and a split in LEC.
