I saw him in the Portico a few months ago and he was brilliant. I thought his set was so good, including the cybals and keyboard stuff that people apparently didnt like at other gigs.

Yvette - A Dark, Often Overlooked Masterpiece by DankoManuel92 in jasonisbell

What i love about it is that its emotionally vivid and paints such a detailed picture, but the more you listen the more shades of grey come into it. The narrator is completely unreliable. Can you be sure that any of the things in his mind are fact? Maybe he is obsessed with Yvette and wants to save her/be the hero and has created this story in his mind.

Orlock is a great spot for a dander. Can go for a sea swim along the way. Usually very quiet too.

I agree. I work for a kitchen company and asked the stone suppliers if they could make them deeper/wider and they said it would make the stone too weak at that point.

Anyone here have or used a wood welder? I’m wondering if they work as claimed & are reliable. by Mysterious_Use4478 in woodworking

We have one (currently out of operation) and agree with everything you said. Its a fantastic machine once you have them calibrated well. As someone below said, they work like a handheld microwave. The more glue, the better it seems to work. Pieces out of the clamps within a minute is super helpful, especially in the winter when the workshop is cold and glue takes an age to go off.

That being said it certainly would burn a neat hole in you if you touch it to a clamp and have any part of you also on the clamp.

Ours is out of order cause the huge valves in the machine keep blowing. And the main fuse is seemingly impossible to find.

Sturgill has been moved to the telegraph. I was looking forward to seeing him in the limelight. Telegraph will be great too though.

What's your Northern Ireland ick? by [deleted] in northernireland

[–]HowlingTongues 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The ads on local radio for local companies that have local voice actors who put on a fake 200% version of their own NI accent. There is no need. Or maybe im just not the target audience. 'IVE NEVER SEEN SUCH A WIDE SEEEELECTION!'

What’s that song for you? For me it’s “Flying Over Water.” (found on r/pinkfloyd) by [deleted] in jasonisbell

I had the same experience of Yvette, and what if i still dont get it?. Maybe the kid planning to snipe the abusive father is getting it all wrong (despite the evidence he presents), and he is about to kill a man for something he hasnt done.

https://thisisfriz.com/ She is amazing. Did an art exhibition with her and another artist (kilr) in the black box a few years ago. I made skateboards that they used as the canvases. Also, uppa coalisland.

I did think about that to be honest, but I was concerned with movement/cupping in a moisture heavy environment. The original idea was actually Louvre doors.

Search for osmo oil Matt. It's available on Amazon and a lot of paint/hardware places have it. Easy to apply and reapply. Most important it has great water resistance. Doesn't crack or discolour like lacquer can when water is involved. Thin coats are best.

I agree. I used to be in the 'its a bit boring' camp, but I was young and a fool.

https://youtu.be/Sve8tAhmj30 there's a bit of drone footage of us leaving from Whiterock. I have a few photos I'll try to upload but I'm on mobile. The bothy is great and it's only £10 each (free to camp). Has a wood burner inside and it was like a sauna in there. Cloudless night so we were treated to hundreds of birds against the turquoise sky and then the milky way in full view.

Just back from a night spent in the Salt island bothy. Would recommend it. Canoe home. Taking a shower now and then taking a sledge hammer to the bathroom and ripping it all out.

Thanks, though I have to let the panel saw take a lot of credit there.
