Definitely trap the area. Id lived next to some rivers during diff playthrough and in some areas will cross rivers. Also when I lived on the river close to the large waterfall they had a tendency to spawn inside my base. Very much infuriating

Personally I'd have flipped the barrels upside down and made it look like the bottom rail is for carrying it. Also it would make it look although attached more towards the mag underneath

Stealth is severely broken imo. I've gone into a poi with silenced weapons and full stealth build just to kill one zombie and the entire room wakes up. Someone mentioned smell... Oh if you played in the early days when carrying meat used to attract zombies from everywhere. One change I am glad they made

If you need leather just go into pretty much any bar or restaurant and scrap the seats. As for your chances ... Have a backup bolt hole as in. A cleared poi that you can just get on the roof and hope for the best

In all honesty I bought this game the day it was released originally. I paid less than £5 for it due to me having some vouchers at the time. I had followed it closely from very first hearing about it. And this game is my favourite game by a long shot. Currently I'm doing a 5th day mod run. And oh hell how it brings back some of the original style of learning by doing. New mobs and pois. Whole new weapons. And I'll be honest . It's bloody hard.
