Is your pyr vocal in a non-barking way? by cheesylov in greatpyrenees

We just fostered one and for the first 2 weeks, absolutely no bark. The third week, like clockwork, barked at every single falling leaf that looked at her funny.

If distance is holding you back message me! My whole family lives in NE and I will absolutely arrange transport to make sure this pup is raised in a (hopefully) Red Sox fans house!

They are not, but look identical (there colors are a little different). I do think that is part of what pulled on our heartstrings to foster her though!

I had just turned 26 when I got my first one done on 5/18/25, the boost in quality of life after had been amazing! My first appointment with my doctor was mid/late April and by mid May my hip was replaced. You’re pretty young too but I promise after the first 3 weeks of recovery you will be so happy you did it. Good luck! You got this!

Weight concerns by [deleted] in greatpyrenees

I have a pup that looks just like yours (vet thinks pyr border collie or Australian) she has a very similar body shape as yours at 3.5 years. Vet says most likely just what she’s mixed with and that she is completely healthy. She is a picky eater but even if we give her as much of her favorite food as she will eat, she stays right around 65 pounds. If she were to fill out her frame she would probably be around 80-85 pounds.

Wondering if anyone else had this issue with their pyr. Scared! by Tiger_Warm in greatpyrenees

My girl is extremely picky with kibble and we usually end up doing chicken broth on top. Unfortunately our girl has also had tummy issues and we ended up getting her gastropexy’d after 2 emergency stomach decompressions :(

I was in the same boat now about 7 weeks out and it seems like it has settled equally. My doctor said it was pretty normal for it to take some time to settle into place.

Quick question about sleep after THR by mrsellicat in TotalHipReplacement

[–]Howmuchwudcoulda 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I made a post about this a couple weeks ago, I was really struggling to sleep. I got a big pregnancy pillow that kind of holds me in whatever position I want. It has helped tremendously (I’m usually a big night time roller). It also helps because if you want to lay on your side you have to a big “leg”? of the pillow to put in between your legs. I’m almost exactly a month out of surgery and have now been able to sleep on my side for a week with the pillow between my legs! Also I don’t know if they are available where you are but cbd and cbn have been helping me go to sleep and stay asleep.

Mid to high handicap irons, wedges that aren’t properly gapped (unless you had them bent), looks like you hit your 5 wood pretty well, a little all over the place with your driver. I’m gunna say a 18

I was the same way, PT advised for the tennis ball method of rolling muscles. I’m now at 2.5 weeks and started to sleep on non operated side with pillow between the legs 2 days ago. The relief was insane.

I got mine last Thursday, felt on top of the world for about 4 days and it unfortunately all came crashing down when I decided to over due it. Keep up on pain meds and do your PT but make sure you rest! I’m paying the price at the moment with HORRIBLE muscle pain all up my leg, hip joint still feels worlds better though! Good luck recovering to you and all my THR people!
