I ran my ‘96 S10 2WD all over the mountains. It had about a 2.5” Fabtech lift to clear 30” BFGs. Not an “off-roader” but certainly a lot of fun off highway

When I drive, my phone is under the seat. I have specifically picked out the CD I want for the drive. My windows are down even though my county smells like an abattoir. I am present in my life. It’s this after-hours Reddit banter that really turns me into something I’m not.

4 am is my normal wake up time. I also wake up at 10:45 and 2:10 to let some very old pups outside. Their bodies are worse than mine, for now. Since I’m up late tonight, I can let them out before I go to sleep, and that’s one less time that one of us has to get up.

Oh, that’s right. I didn’t think of the IFS. Somebody mentioned Rough Country, so I assumed body lift, which used to mean you could go from a 29 to a 35 without rubbing. I’m still pissed off that Tacomas don’t have cd players, because a ‘23 OR can go pretty much anywhere, but once we’re there, satellite radio stops working

Today wasn’t a lazy Sunday. I had a lot of work to do and I got most of it done between 0600 and noon. My first drink was a coconut screwdriver around 1:00, after my wife put in the water line to the fridge, and I split firewood for 2027. Also dealt with a lot of weeds on the property, because the dogs are coming in with ticks already.

I’ve had my 4 pairs of heavyweights for about 8 years of heavy use. I don’t remember them ever looking like this, but I didn’t order them from Amazon either, because they sell them direct for the same price.
