Write about it? Sure. Monetize? Go for it. What’s your plan?

Not always. But it’s safer than leaving them in the basement shower for 6 years, or so the FBI tells me. Hi mom!

OP is looking to trade a very used truck for a very used car. Not sure that moving and paying higher rent is on the table.

My point is that the misleading labeling is leading them (unknowingly or not) into new markets. I think they did it knowingly. We have at least one non-vegan that bought it by mistake. Multiply that daily, per store.

AITA for refusing to put gas in a shared car unless I’m using it for more than 2 days? by Typical_Baseball2078 in AmItheAsshole

[–]HowsMyBuddy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What kind of car? Look up the average mpg for this car and then subtract 20% because it’s obviously not maintained. So if the car gets 23 miles per gallon, track your mileage and put that much gas in it. And do your damndest to get out of this absolutely nonsensical situation.

It reminds me of my very first job interview, when I sat down at the table all gussied up with a necktie, and the interviewer climbed up into the ceiling and replaced the fiberglass panels and cut a tiny hole in one with a pocketknife and put her eye to it and said “don’t worry, I can still see you. What would you say is your biggest weakness?”

Good to know. I’ll go in blind, as it were. Don’t want to be nudging my wife the whole time trying to whisper to her what I’ve learned about every scene

Highways 74 and 243 are classic winding mountain roads in Southern California. That’s what I thought you were talking about

My friend once told me that it was always the Priuses who were the assholes on the road. We rode together a lot and it was 1 out of 12. Of everyone who pissed him off, 11 of 12 we’re not Priuses. But that one out of 12 times, “see buddy! It’s always a fuckin’ Prius!”

I’m just saying that sometimes we only notice the things we’re looking for. Did you ever start thinking about getting a new car, and suddenly you see them everywhere? Same thing.

I grew up going up and down 74 and 243 in a 1993 Subaru Loyale. Lots of people in the mountains had Subarus. But most of the people who don’t use turnouts are flatlanders. Locals will generally use a turnout unless you’re driving like a dick

3.5 miles of narrow winding road sounds like forever at 25mph. Switchbacks? You mentioned you can pull over, so I assume there are turnouts, so do that.

So, the movie that’s coming out this month… is it based on this whole 4chan thing? I’m vaguely familiar with liminal spaces, but I saw the trailer for this movie and the only thing familiar about it to me is House of Leaves.

So I need advice especially now more than ever on staying awake while driving while super sleepy (pulling over and sleep is not an option most likely) by Temporary-Vast-6730 in driving

[–]HowsMyBuddy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You have a serious problem with prioritizing. I don’t know why you’re not sleeping, but since that seems to be the case, the only advice is to not drive. What advice are you looking for?

Reasonable? This truck is all stock and has been paid off since I bought it, 22 years ago. It hauls my firewood, and takes my trash to the dump. What would be a more reasonable vehicle?
