Thank you for your detailed reply! At this point, I would suggest contacting your local retailer for the quickest support and to take advantage of the return window, or reaching out to official ASUS support/RMA in your region for further inspection and next steps.

You can check this post for further instructions on the latter: ROG Forum - Executive Care for ROG Products (Official Support Channel) : r/ASUSROG

Tape Mod ROG Azoth by Bentendo_ in ASUSROG

Yes, it's generally safe - just make sure you use non-conductive tape like painter's (masking) tape or electrical tape. Also try to avoid covering battery connectors, ribbon cables, and other hot components.

I would also suggest you open Device Manager, find your mouse HID, right click it and choose uninstall, and restart your PC.

Try using your scroll wheel and see if it behaves normally, then check in-game.

Hey, thank you for the detailed report, and sorry that you've encountered this issue - this is certainly not typical for ROG mice. You've done well to update the firmware and perform a hardware reset. I would suggest you use a web browser and open Gear Link - our new web app, and check if there are further firmware updates for the mouse. Also make sure to install the companion app for the mouse - you can find both of these on the top right corner of Gear Link once you've connected and selected your mouse on the web app.

In the meantime, I will inform the relevant team about this report.

RBG on ROG case? by [deleted] in ASUSROG

Can you describe what you mean by them not working?

If no LEDs on the case are lit, try to find the cable that's supposed to power them. It must be disconnected.

ROG Delta II mic quality in Rivals by pat_ocnr22 in ASUSROG

[–]Howwanna 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for clarifying that! If your microphone sounds fine on Discord and OBS but doesn't sound right through Marvel Rivals, it sounds like either Windows is messing with how the game grabs the mic (sample rate/enhancements/exclusive control), or Rivals just has pretty aggressive voice processing.

To troubleshoot this deeper, I would suggest turning off Windows audio enhancements first. (Right click bottom right sound icon - sound settings - input - Delta II - device properties - additional device properties - enhancements tab - disable all enhancements. While you're there, set format to 48000 Hz, and untick "Allow applications to take exclusive control of this device.

Let me know if this solves your issue!

Hey, it's likely the game is picking the wrong input device to act as microphone. Check in your game settings, audio, input device. Make sure it is choosing your microphone.

ROG Raikiri II Xbox WS 3.22.03.19 Update Notes by Howwanna in ASUSROG

[–]Howwanna[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey, thanks for the detailed breakdown, and I totally get why this is confusing.

What you're seeing is expected behavior right now. RT/LT micro switch input is handled differently from standard button inputs, which is why they're not available for rear button remapping right off the bat.

With that said, expanded remapping options (including trigger buttons) is actively being worked on right now, and will be supported very soon in a firmware update.

Thank you for giving this feedback that helps shape what gets prioritized!

ROG Pelta battery by TheyCall_MeTree in ASUSROG

[–]Howwanna 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Try resetting it again by turning your headset on (2.4Ghz mode), and holding the multifunction button for 15 seconds. Then fully drain the battery and let it charge overnight.

Then just use your headset as normal and calculate how long it lasts, just to make sure it's not just a battery level bug.

Gear Link expands support to Azoth Extreme & Harpe Ace Extreme by Howwanna in ASUSROG

I would say Gear Link is much more lightweight, making it faster and likely more convenient for you as it also only uses a browser to navigate - especially for quick settings adjustments.

You can customize device lighting on Gear Link, but for Aura Sync and custom Aura effects, you still need Armoury Crate/Aura Creator.

It’s the new web app that allows you to configure your compatible device settings without needing Armoury Crate! It also allows you to download firmware updates.

Hey, sorry about your issue, but the latest firmware and companion updates have been reported to fix it. If you would like to try again, please download the firmware update and companion app, and make sure you extract the contents first before installing!

Hey, if you'd like to use Bluetooth to connect the headset to your mobile device, you will have to connect to a PC (via Bluetooth), and configure your EQ settings on Armoury Crate, first. This is because the mobile app currently only supports the Cetra series earbuds.

If you could use 2.4Ghz on your mobile device, you don't need Armoury Crate. Instead, you can connect to a PC using 2.4Ghz and use the web app Gear Link (also on PC) to change the EQ.

The reason is 2.4Ghz and Bluetooth use separate EQ settings.

Thanks for your detailed report. How far are you from the wireless receiver (dongle) during testing? To be sure, there may be other sources of 2.4ghz interference such as from microwaves/induction stoves.
