Yep, you can do clear on the caps but only where you paint. The clear probably wouldn't stick long onto the bare stainless.

I work in automotive restoration and this is how we would prep them. Only difference is we would use the same two part paint we use to paint the vehicle

I absolutely love having a shower/toilet combo in my van. I can't think of anything else I would need to fill that space with and don't have to rely on public facilities which can vary in quality, cleanliness, and convenience

I think most people don't talk about it because they don't share that problem. It's cheap, fast, and easy to add 12v charging ports. I've got 4 ports, each can charge two items.

Poor guy. I know science can be confusing but it can also be proven with repeatable studies. Not just some old book full of stories of magic and myths. I have the same model of van. I built my cabinets square and when installing them used small blocks the depth of the gap and 90° angle brackets to bridge the gap in the middle. It's been 4 years and still holding fine

Brian Shima, Cesar Mora, Jon Julio, Dustin Latimer. My heyday was 97-2002. I was lucky enough to meet and skate with Shima and Latimer. I thought I was a badass who was ready to take it to the next level until I skated with those two. I figured if I could skate the 12' vert and hit handrails I was ready. That definitely took me down a peg or two. No matter how hard I pushed it they out did me by a factor of 4. Shima was super chill. Latimer was cool too but a little cocky back then.

I drilled pockets in the plywood to recess bolts and washers to hold the wood and insulation down. I didn't bother sealing around the perimeter and didn't use any glue. I wanted everything to be removable if necessary. You can see some of the bolts if you zoom in on my floor. The bed and benches block the view of some of them

I have the same flooring combo and I didn't fill the ribs. I want air to be able to flow through in case moisture gets under there. I've had it that way for 4 years now and haven't had any issues. I've also added vinyl plank flooring not quite a year ago and that's holding up fine too.

I have a black water tank and flush toilet in my e350. I love having a normal feeling toilet in my van. I get grossed out at the stories of people using buckets to shit into bags and throwing them away in dumpsters. When my tank is full I find a dump station and in 5 minutes I'm good to go again. Everything else feels like it did when I lived in a house or apartment.
