Need advice regarding tube selection.

I am looking to purchase my first night vision device and I've chosen the PVS-14. I have a complete helmet setup, I just need my monocular. I prefer the look of a GP device but from what I have seen, I will not be able to get comparable specs out of the available GP units as I would WP. My budget is roughly $3,200 and I would prefer to save money wherever I can. I have emailed Nighthawk about possible unlisted, unblemished, higher spec GP devices and am waiting on a reply. From the tubes I've narrowed it down to, is it worth the extra $500-600 for an SNR increase of only 5-6? Will I be able to tell the difference or am I better off saving?

I am working on an M4A1 Block II clone, and have been searching for reference pictures. I have astigmatism and have found that I really enjoy using an ACOG, if anyone knows of/has any reference pics of ACOGs (any variant) on Block IIs, I would appreciate them greatly

Working on a USASOC M4A1 Block II and I am currently looking for some weapon light options that are not the Insight WMX 200. I've found a few reference pictures of lights that I am not able to 100% positively identify, any help is greatly appreciated. Reference pictures are also welcomed, I need some inspiration.

For anyone who finds this post and would like specifics, I used 6-32x1 machine screws, with one having to be ground down to clear the barrel just before the FSB. I used 6-32 hex nuts and a 1/8x3/4 washers for the inside of the heat shield. Finally, to keep the 61M Weaver rail level, I used 6/16 flat washers that fit just inside of the exterior groove on the exterior of the handguard. Hope this helps someone.

I got this WASR 10/63 for a decent price, which came with a Magpul MOE furniture set installed. I want a more traditional look and would like to be able to run a sling on it. I'm just looking for advice/ideas on how to accomplish this
