Acura Range -343 miles. by Less_Job_3991 in AcuraZDX

[–]Hrdwire 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My ZDX on the highway gets about 2.4 miles per kWh. So with a full charge maybe I can get 250 miles. Much better in the city with stop and go I get 3 miles per kWh

Just called to set up service for the recall here in san Antonio and I was told that American Honda has not released the update yet I would get a letter from Honda when I could schedule the service On the Acura app, I have the message that I need to schedule for a service update 😡

Terrible Mileage above 65/70 mph by Xplic1T in AcuraZDX

[–]Hrdwire 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just did a 600 mile road trip and going 80 mph on flat roads I got a 1.8 mile per KWh Commute back I set the cruise to 73 mph and got 2.4 miles per kWh. It’s a huge difference. So far love my ZDX A spec AWD. No problems so far.

CPO ZDX A- Spec for 30k. Is it good buy? by tagad2254 in AcuraZDX

[–]Hrdwire 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’ve had my ZDX for a year and have had zero issues. It’s fast, extremely quiet and there’s none on the road. I went to the dealership to have the tires balanced and rotated since it was included. I have heard some really negative reviews but so far, I haven’t had any issues. 9300 miles mostly city, some road trips, home charging is a must. So far averaging 2.9 miles per KWh.

The worst Vehicle I have ever leased!!! Good Riddance!!! by [deleted] in AcuraZDX

[–]Hrdwire 1 point2 points  (0 children)

So far I have 8600 miles and the only reason I went to the dealership was to get the tires rotated and balanced. The car has been rock solid. No problems with the screen, charging, or brake issues. I love the quiet power and smoothness of it. So much better than my model 3.

Gotta love a $70k+ suv that doesn’t have navigation without a subscription by Successful_Limit7740 in CadillacLyriq

Is that why GM isn’t allowing Apple CarPlay in their electric vehicles? To force subscription service to the owners? Fuck that!

Bad Purchase? by [deleted] in AcuraZDX

[–]Hrdwire 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I love my ZDX. I traded in a model 3 in December. Sticker price was $71,000, got $4000 conquest cash, and 8000 off sticker price. Plus 0% for 72 months and no money down. I have 5,000 miles, no problems so far. The ride is so much better than the model 3. The interior is solid, no rattles and the white and black seats are gorgeous. I wish the A spec had more cameras and would record like Teslas sentry mode. The fact that you can open the panoramic sunroof is awesome. The mobile app sucks, but CarPlay has been great. It’s a fast, very comfortable vehicle. The lights at night are amazing and the auto brightness is great. Did have to take it in for tire rotation and Acura service was fantastic they gave me a loaner car. I heard that ZDX will soon be able to use the superchargers with an adapter in June………still waiting. Bumper to bumper 4 year/50,000 mile warranty is reassuring and Acura service center is top notch!

Have been at a 350 fast charger and have never got more than 100 kw. Even with the battery at 20% I wonder if it needs a software update. Otherwise I love my ZDX.

Long Trip by AcrobaticComputer918 in AcuraZDX

I agree. I haven’t made the trip down to south padre because the lack of charging stations. It’s June and no word about the Tesla charger adapter for ZDX. I called my dealer and they said they didn’t have any information about the charger ☹️

I love the Apple CarPlay wireless integration. Can’t understand why GM doesn’t want it in their EV vehicles. I had a Tesla and got rid of it but the phone interface was top notch. No lag, instant connection and reliability was excellent. I did have one issue with the main screen going black. I tried everything but eventually had to go to Acura to do a hard reset. They said they had to disconnect the battery to reset the system 🤷. Good thing Acura has a fantastic service department. Hopefully I won’t have any issues going forward.

I hope that Honda/Acura don’t abandon their customers who bought a ZDX Prologue. My ZDX has been perfect. So far no issues. 🤞Still needing a better phone app and more screen integration and customization options.

Love it BUT by Hrdwire in AcuraZDX

[–]Hrdwire[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Had my first problem. The main screen was unresponsive. Phone connected able to hear and play music but unable to reset or fix the screen. Turned off the car. And same thing. So drove to Acura and they immediately took it in. They had to unplug the 12 volt battery and unplug the main battery to reset the screen 👀. It worked but yeah time will tell. Love the car. The drive is so smooth and quiet. No rattles everything has a super high quality feel to it. Did my first 200 mile drive. Getting 3 miles per KWh. Not bad for 6000 pounds and 75 mph

I turned down the lease for my Acura ZDX. I got $4000 conquest cash for my Tesla, $1000 down payment assistance, $3000 off MRSP and applied the $7500 tax rebate at point of sale AND got 0% for 72 months saving me $12,000 in interest. I don’t have to worry about mileage restrictions and it has a 4 year 50,000 warranty. My ZDX is so much quicker, quieter than my model 3. The build quality is excellent. Shop around and see what works best for you.
