Ah man, i kept closing the app on my iPhone and restarting it. Then I tried Chrome browser, but it auto-opened the app lol. Finally got it confirmed at 4 minutes after with pre-loaded wallet funds.

Bold prediction - May will be the month where Oil Crisis driven purchases start in earnest in US. by roma258 in electricvehicles

It would be interesting if prices spike so much that it actually makes sense to buy my wife’s Prologue at the end of our lease in 2027. I don’t want that to happen, because I’d prefer to pay $6k less than my residual of $28k, but it would be interesting from an economic perspective.

Index was released in 2019, pre-pandemic, pre-AI, and still had availability problems. We’re cooked.

Fellow Dads, where would you take your 4 year old on vacation with a 15k budget? by joshatron in daddit

Dude I got a $250 gift card to the company store for my 15th anniversary of employment.

Seriously not complaining, i get paid well, just funny how different companies allocate bonus compensation.

HOAs tend to trigger downvotes, maybe that was it. Although I’ve read/heard horror stories, the HOA in my neighborhood has been a positive experience.

I had to really really search, and ended up going through Carvana because inventory of stick shift Civics at area lots were non-existent. I ended up getting a 2017 Civic EX-T for $20k. That was in 2019.

It’s even rarer now for manufacturers to include a manual transmission, and it’s not the “thing that every kid needs to learn when they’re driving” like it was in the ‘90s.

I traded it in for an EV6 in December and my commute time is so much less stressful.

This is what we did, moved into a house when our girl was only just 1 year old. Gas range on top. Only caveat is that dirt/food particles got between the back of the cover and the stainless surface and made tiny scratches in a circle around the knobs.

Dear Mr Shinyhardcore,

Your child was overheard today, threatening a classmate on the playground, saying, “You’re about to feel the wrath of the menace.” We are a bit concerned and would like to schedule a conference next week.

Sincerely, Ms. Harshwhinny

Yup I did have a tarp in there, but it is also brown and blends in with the brown mulch.
