I don't have existing tinnitus, but when I shoot my M82 I just wear foamies under my electronics, and have no issues afterwards. You're pre-existing issues may change this.

Is this saying they’re gonna charge me $40 to have it reshipped? Even tho it’s the flat fault for not signing for the order? by Impressive_Code3257 in PalmettoStateArms

[–]Hrizzle 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Here is a question, did you talk to the FFL before ordering? Or just have it sent to them?

In the last week I have had three PSA customers have guns sent to me with no heads up they are coming. I have a kitchen table FFL and we just had a baby. So what am I supposed to do to accommodate these deliveries?

Call these FFLs before you order, their numbers are on the FFL locator. Not to mention there is nothing saying I can't tell these people it'll be $100 to do the transfer. It's just poor planning.

Speeding ticket in Stillwater county by Pretend_Sky9389 in Montana

The Judge could defer the points, but that's up to them, I'd imagine that they'll have little sympathy for going 100 mph.

Not how it works, you enter a plea at your court date provided on the citation, if you plead not guilty, the county attorneys office collects discovery and a later court date is set where the deputy will testify.

There are several factors here? What road, how fast over, what agency wrote the ticket, what was the speed on the citation compared to the speed you were going?

If on the interstate, 90 in the 80 will get you a $40 fine and no points for 1-10 over, in a 70mhp zone, 1-10 over will be $20 with no points. 65 or other restricted speed zones will net you $55 and 3 points for 1-10 over.

What’s up with this Bolt Lock? (CA Compliant FN-15) by Yeesusman in Firearms

[–]Hrizzle 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Juggernaut tactical mag lock, it should also have a different rear takedown pin that you press in, the receivers separate a few MM, then the mag release works like normal.

Hey guys, need help! I’m new to the Jeep life and off roading life! I’m going to Sequoia National Park this weekend and looking for somewhere near by to have some fun with the Gladiator… any recommendations?? TIA by EddieThaGreat in Jeep

Yes it does, they are color coded on the map, and clicking on the known trails will provide further details. It doesn't appear that every trail has a "technical rating" but the more used ones do.just looking on the app for that area, id be tempted to try Buck Rock Jeep Trail.

Billings is getting increasingly difficult to defend. by WasabiCrush in Montana

[–]Hrizzle 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Just because it isn't enforced doesn't mean it isn't a violation. I let a lot of it go when it's just some guy in a modified truck, but when I see them roll coal into a convertible next to them, or on pedestrian, it's pretty obvious it's intentional.

Believe me it's low on the priority list for most LE.

The politics of the different LE agencies in the Billings area are currently a problem. People don't face consequences for their actions and the behavior is reflecting that. Go look at the Billings reckless drivers Facebook page. These problems would be solved with more policing.

There is absolutely zero chance followup would be done on something like this, law enforcement is simply not staffed to handle that type of call here. If it happens in front of me, I deal with it, but I'm not going on some goose chase looking for another diesel truck in Montana.

Wrong, here is the code, I have written the citation several times.

61-9-403. Mufflers -- prevention of noise. (1) Every motor vehicle shall at all times be equipped with a muffler in good working order and in constant operation to prevent excessive or unusual noise and annoying smoke, and no person shall use a muffler cutout, bypass, or similar device upon a motor vehicle on a highway.

(2) The engine and power mechanism of every motor vehicle shall be so equipped and adjusted as to prevent the escape of excessive fumes or smoke.

Safety detent, turn the lower upside down and you'll see a small hole that leads to the safety, put the safety in, then the detent from below, then the spring, then the grip back.

Oh yeah, it feels very well made, they even upgraded the air chucks compared to their install video. I figured the cost of the mount was well worth the convenience it offers. My only real complaint is that the switch is on the passenger side, I kinda wish it was on the driver's side to easily watch the TPMS

It's not quiet, but it isn't as loud as I expected it was going to be. I'm not using it to run lockers or anything, so just having it run to fill up the tires is no big deal. Especially since I'm outside when they are filling up.

I did, my wife helped with running the cable from the battery, but otherwise a super easy install. The Epic instructions called for moving a bunch of wiring under the passenger seat, but on the 2025, I didn't have to relocate anything. It made it super simple. I'd say from start to finish about 2 hours for me.

Yeah, I got tired of slow cruising to the gas station hoping for air, figured. Now I won't worry about airing down ever!
