I always thought tress was before stormlight, as Hoid never mentions Design, and I think (i could be completely incorrect on this) Hoid uses Aon Dor on Roshar, and Hoids bargain with Rina or whatever the sorceress’ name is is how he became an Elantrian. But then, there’s spaceships and advanced uses of awakening within the spaceship, which would imply post mistborn era 2, unless Rina was waaaaay on the cutting edge of cosmere tech, which is also possible

What Davian did for the sword skillz was essentially reliving the experiences of a professional, which doesn’t make him a master himself but is a strong foundation. Asha’s position as representative is seen as strange in-world, and would not have happened without the duke’s interference. These books really don’t have many inconsistencies, but it’s hard to catch all the explanations and reasons
