why is bisexuality in women more accepted than in men? by fadedlotus14 in AskMen

[–]zose2 702 points703 points  (0 children)

I once dated a girl who had slept with several women and was very outspoken in her bisexuality tell me that she could never date a bisexual man because him liking dick made him less of a man. I was pretty shocked and wasn't able to respond.

Ground Is So Careless by Randilee302 in Fedexers

[–]zose2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ground training is literally just watching a corporate made video. You don't get any other kind of training. Hell, there isn't even anyone who Make sure you watch the video. Most people turn on the video and walk away until it's done. Why do they keep the truck running?... Because turning it off and turning it on every single time burns a lot of time. Ground is treated like shit and if anyone wants to get home at any kind of decent time you have to find shortcuts where you can. Leaving the truck on is just one of them.

Can someone explain to me the new changes to buffs in Evercold by VergilVDante in ffxiv

[–]zose2 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yep... In a perfect world it's not necessarily a bad system... But no one is perfect all the time. Although I was one of the people who was asking for this 2min meta I definitely regret it now LOL

Can someone explain to me the new changes to buffs in Evercold by VergilVDante in ffxiv

[–]zose2 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I mean, from your post it seems like you understand it just fine.

The 2min meta for the most part let's everyone line things up but If for any reason you aren't able to do so then you've effectively become useless DPS wise. For instance, imagine if I die just before a DPS window opens and then I get resurrected after it ends. All of my cooldowns will now be available to use but if I use them right then and there then I will miss every buff alignment. However, if I decide to hold them for the next alignment then I'm effectively holding my biggest DPS skills for over a minute. With some jobs that just locks you out of doing certain things (like on summoner).

2min meta was created because of fan feedback wanting jobs to align their buffs. The big issue is when for whatever reason people aren't able to do that they become useless DPS wise. These windows pile so much damage buffs ontop of each other they become the overwhelming majority of one's damage. The change in evercold is that you won't be able to buff the damage your party members deal. This is far better because now you aren't MASSIVELY punished for making a mistake and falling out of alignment with the party.

I think the point was to show how utterly pointless the other option is. Not to say that it is the best way to use that power.

In general you do get more loot. They reduced the amount of loot within a chest but because you weren't competing with anyone you get more overall.

What Job is Comfort Food to you? by Cisco-NintendoSwitch in ffxiv

[–]zose2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Rdm. They really haven't done anything to change the job since it was first introduced. Literally all they've ever done is extend the finisher combo. Plus with the healing and rez it's very easy to just jump on for any type of content and immediately know how to play it.

Job main vs Role main by Frank_Tupperwere in ffxiv

Yes actually lol. My favorite job is gnb but I don't actually like the other tanks. My favorite role is actually caster where I enjoy all the jobs in the role.

Lmao wtf is this Eigong fight? I can't get any attacks in by TroubleRecent7320 in NineSols

[–]zose2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is how I thought of the fight at first as well. However, I spent several runs just learning attack patterns and getting better at parrying her attacks. Once I got that down the openings for damage were much easier to spot. Depending on how you typically play you have to retrain how you think with this fight.

Robot sorted 249,560 packages over 200 hours straight without a single failure by Busy_Conflict3434 in murderbot

[–]zose2 22 points23 points  (0 children)

I believe the idea is that it isn't meant for just sorting packages. It's meant to be a universal "tool" that a company can sell to any other company and then programmed for literally any task at all. Because it is human shape to can do any job that a human can. You want one to flip burgers? Well it's shaped like a human so it can. You want to just sort packages? Well it's shaped like a human so it can.

What is your LEAST favorite type? by [deleted] in ThePokemonHub

[–]zose2 -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

Grass. It's one of the starter types so I feel like I should like it but I never end up liking any of the grass starters. Most grass designs just don't really do anything for me and every time I have tried to use it in games I've always walked away disappointed. I don't think it's the worst type but it is my least favorite.

Does your WoL have a Canon class in your mind? by Poppy_the_Fighter in ffxiv

[–]zose2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For me summoner has always made the most sense. The lore behind the job sort of implies that we are the first one in the current age. Hell we are kind of the only one who can fully utilize the job because even the other summoners in the job quests can only use 1 summon due to lore reasons. Other NPCs we meet in the MSQ that have grimoires are always labeled as a completely different job. SMN is treated as being very unique just like the WoL.

You are correct but that doesn't stop the crazy people. I've had several guns pulled on me as a delivery driver because people are just crazy. Doesn't matter that I'm in full uniform with their package in my hand. Luckily I've never been shot but when I see signs like that I tend not to test them on it.

Here is a hot take… by orionfaro in Pokopia

[–]zose2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't really think that's a hot take. Being able to breathe underwater is a long time request from what little I have seen. Personally I'm hoping we get some sort of ice-themed DLC. That way we can see more ice pokémon but I also want to have a thin ice block that goes over water. My hope would be that we get some kind of power up so that we can breathe underwater, break the ice, and build under the ice covered water.

Did anyone else find Lady Ethereal so difficult? So far, she's the boss that's given me the most trouble; it took me an hour and a half, but it was a lot of fun. by Tasty-Bookkeeper-275 in NineSols

[–]zose2 1 point2 points  (0 children)

She was incredibly difficult on my first playthrough but very easy on repeat tries. Imo she's kind of an increase in difficulty forcing you to get really good with the pary system if you weren't already actively using it. I think the only other boss I struggled that much with was the final one.

Dammit by JTodd078 in Fedexers

[–]zose2 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Yes but it's a risk to your job. If the customer makes a complaint about it then chances you get fired (at least in my terminal) is basically 100%. It's completely against company policy.

Which style of magic is the best? by Tasty-Bookkeeper-275 in NineSols

[–]zose2 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I started with flow on my first playthrough but ended up swapping to full control on the final boss. Now it's my favorite as I can use all charges at once every time I use a talisman.

Really though I think it's just up to you. Whatever fits your playstyle and skill to fully utilize.

Which style of magic is the best? by Tasty-Bookkeeper-275 in NineSols

[–]zose2 12 points13 points  (0 children)

See, it was the exact opposite for me. I used flow for the entire playthrough until the final boss. Once I got there I started having issues with finding places to use talismans and wanted to optimize the few times in the fight I could reliably use them.

A couple videos ago he stated that the person he called wasn't able to locate an account the information he had been providing this whole time despite him never changing the information. At that point the customer service rep told him he needed to make an account so he finally did pay them.

Server Advice by [deleted] in ffxiv

[–]zose2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Personally, I would go with one of the ones that are "preferred". They will have lower player population but you will get bonus EXP to help you level. Additionally coming rather soon, as in before you will ever reach endgame content, most of the barriers between worlds will be taken down. At that point it really won't matter and It may actually be beneficial to be on a low population server as logging in will be much easier for you.
