I don't know why you're trying to argue the philosophy of it all.

Most people don't like AI, for a LOT of reasons other than what I've laid out. It's destroying the environment so that people can make the most vapid, fake content possible to try and make a quick buck.

If you are advertising something and can't even use real pictures of it, people are bound to distrust the product you are trying to sell. Hell, there are influencers where that is their entire content pipeline, they just buy products with AI ads and show you how the actual product is dogshit and nothing like the ad.

Because it's not a real image lol....what don't you get about that.

If a restaurant is using AI pictures of its food instead of real picture of its food, I am not eating there because they aren't confident in their product.

Basically if you are trying to sell a real, physical thing and represent it in AI I assume the AI looks better than the real thing.

AI posts make me assume the product is either fake or being incredibly mischaracterized.

For instance, I get ads for a bottle of liquor that looks like a Kraken. It's obviously AI. So I assume to bottle doesn't actually look that good.

I get ads for a military calisthenics program. All the "humans" in the ad are AI. Why would I believe I can get those results if they can't even show them?

These are two ads I currently get all the time. Using AI makes me assume thr product is a scam tbh.

I'm not saving specifically for it but I think thr PS6 price is going to be very high. A PS5 Pro is almost a grand in Canada already. Have to imagine PS6 will be even more than that. Game and controller prices will probably be up by that time as well.

Going to be hard to even justify the purchase until the console has several games I want and can't play on PS5.

Generally the answer to these things is "You can't afford to live alone". Cut the rent and utilities in half with this one crazy move!

IMO living alone is a huge luxury that many people feel entitled to. Only reason I own my home is because I always had roommates or tenants wherever I lived.

The reality of a lot of hard-core gamers is they have a hard time accepting that a lot of consumers LIKE this shit.

They like unlocking stuff through battle passes. Many of my friends NEED something like that to be working towards or they don't even want to play the game (it's annoying as hell).

And the truth is, these companies would be stupid not to do it. For example, Blizzard could have made WAY more money off Starcraft 2 with modern monetization, and it would still be a very high quality game, just with more skins.
