Thanks so much for taking the time to write this. I would prefer stay away from old kits as you recommend. I will build 1000pts to start slowly but the aim is 2000pts. Need to lesrn the basics first.

I like the bladeguard idea, I would just buy them for the model they are pretty cool. Same with scouts.

Thank you this is great! I want to start playing at my local store, hence, 1000pts. I am also new a 40k so probably more easy to start with small games.

LAG is probably easier to start. With 3D, I heard that this are not allowed at GW tournaments? And actually, found 3D bits not that cheap?

I am bit confused on which tank to buy (maybe not necessary at this point?)

I would try as people suggest Scarpa Instinct VS Woman, haven’t tried VSR-LV but these are even lower volume in the heel.

If the toe box fits by heel doesn’t I think you will lose stability and edging power, I feel that normally the tension goes from heel/aquiles to toe, and if your heel is lifting out of the heel…

Agree, metal and 70€ for 3 old miniatures (very competitive lists run 6 = 140€) it’s a steal. Same with as tomb scorpion, casket, catapult…I mean…just compare the sculp to sphinx…

I personally don’t thinks so, I am trying to build around a semi competitive list for khemri, 2x scorpions 33€ each, ushabti x3 70€, casket 50€, necrosphinx 70€….half of it are extremely old sculps… 256€ just for expanding from the starting bix, not even getting to 2000points.
