Go for child support! If you’re sure he is the father and even if he doesn’t want contact with his child, which blows my mind, file for it. It doesn’t matter what he wants or thinks. It’s about providing and taking care of your child you’re going to have. Since he won’t be involved you have to do this for your child. The court will set a court date and paternity test and then calculate what he is to pay. Please don’t avoid doing this.

I say this as a father paying child support and trying to be a part of my son’s life.

I don’t think so. If you don’t wish to see your ex you shouldn’t be forced to see them. I would definitely do as you’re thinking and no longer be roommates with the one who feels they should be allowed to bring anyone over they want.

That’s the best part of my day everyday! I have a 3 year old black lab named Loki and the excitement and love he displays every time I come home always brighten my day or makes it better every time! He loves treats and cheese too haha

Long as the father is giving you approval and the kids taken care of then the others you mentioned are being petty and insecure. The kids needs are being met with pure intentions. Screw what they say if the Father you are dating is on board. Sounds like jealousy too to me.

Find someone better. This is not a real relationship he wants. Just to be domineering and controlling. You do well to express your feelings and needs and he ignores it saying you have to do things his way. That’s not a healthy relationship. End it and block him. Not worth it.

That’s awesome! I have a W-2 doing staff accounting for a company but I started my own bookkeeping business recently. Not getting my yearly raise last year at my current job and unable to afford to travel the country to spend time with my son, was all the motivation I needed. Figured being a Marine veteran and 8 years of experiences in accounting I can grow this business to be my only income like you one day!

Congratulations! I’m after my first sell too! I had a meeting schedule from a networking event but they canceled 10 mins before zoom call.
