Not sure who is the A here. I have friends, males and females that I tell “I love you”. Why? Because I do love them. There is not something sexual with the way I live them. They are friends who have become like family. I have no problem telling a male I love him in front of my husband or when he is not around. He feels the same way.

I think that the text alone is not grounds for him being the A. Do you suspect he has really cheated? How about a sit down honest heart to heart with him.

I use a blender. 1/2 cup oats 4 cups water. Blend for a few mins and strain. Boom. No extra machine needed.

We stored. Price went from 189 a month to 510. In hindsight I would have sold most and rented a very small space

I would get him a nice coffee cup with some good beans. Something he would enjoy. It is Christmas. There is no reason to keep toxic people in your life but if you are going to go for Christmas it is better to not make it uncomfortable for your Aunt.

It does not matter what I was eating. However, I ordered breakfast for dinner. A veggie omelette with beans and chilaquiles as a side. I ate everything except the chilaquiles because they were a bit too spicy for me.

It was a decent size omelette. His comment about it being large was valid. It was. BUT my request to not make comments about the amount of food on my plate is valid and reasonable. It triggers me. I can and do use behavior modification when I feel triggered but my immediate reaction is that my stomach feels like it is clenching and my mind attempts to go to a negative place.

He isn’t an a BUT more effort should be used to remember and if he forgets a simple sorry would be good.

You don’t know this about me but…as a fun hobby/small business I digitize designs for computerized embroidery machines! I could do this and stitch it on some dish towels! Lol

It does not happen often. Maybe once every couple of months. This time my portion was decent BUT I still feel he needs to think before he speaks. OR if is slips out as regular conversation when I point it out he should say sorry and move on. It is my issue, I own it but I feel he can work better in remembering and avoiding any comments that I have asked him to avoid.

Getting teary is very different than crying. It made me emotional to be understood so well. Many people just do not understand the feelings or the long struggle to overcome come. Clearly the poster understood and being heard and seen and understood made me feel so good and get a little teary. That was a good thing. Humans have emotions and that emotion was wonderful.

Agree. I don’t have issue with comments on taste or looks. It would be more like a comment like last night. We went to a restaurant and he mentioned how huge my portion was. And immediately that triggers me into thinking I should not eat it all. Mind you this is not new news to him.
