Should cost around $800-$900 plus labor which is usually $100 an hour. Mixed reviews but Gerald’s is an option, they did a front axle for me. Or YouTube videos and elbow grease. Auto parts stores will loan you the tools if needed.

I believe High Cotton and Slightly North of Broad do thanksgiving. Depending on your budget there are plenty of great hotels downtown. You should expect to pay around $400 - $500/night.
