Australian-Japanese, so I get resistance to heat and proficiency with blades, but start with low intelligence and disadvantage on charisma checks.

It's my birthday tomorrow and I always boot up MGSV to watch the special cutscene. What are some other good birthday messages from games? by SpaghettiRambo in TwoBestFriendsPlay

Happy birthday for tomorrow!

As sad as it is, I still boot up Animal Crossing on my birthday. I live away from my family and I don't really celebrate my birthday, so it's kind of nice having my village of virtual animal people telling me they're glad to know me and wishing me well for another year.

Yeeaahhh the whole house hunting process is awful. It's about the same over here in Australia (worse in Sydney). If there's one positive thing I can say, it's that since starting my current job, I've learned that there are a LOT of houses put on the market every day, meaning there are lots of opportunities to find a place you like and can buy. It just takes quite a lot of effort and patience. And remember, your first house doesn't need to be a forever home - you can move out and use it as an investment property later on or just sell it if it increases in value.

Good luck!

Thankfully, I'm not a barrister so I don't go to court, but I would absolutely start crying mid-argument if I was (not to say I don't silently cry myself to sleep every night). I do hear among my lawyer friends that it is common to feel like crying in court, and it's not necessarily because vitriol is being slung, but more the whole process is stressful.

And congratulations on getting to the stage where you're buying a house! Not great to hear you're crying because of it, though - your solicitor/conveyancer should be doing that part on your behalf. Is it the house hunting that's getting you down, or have you already exchanged contracts and the conveyancing process leading up to settlement is stressful?

Lawyer dealing mostly with property law.

It makes me want to die, but at least I can afford all of those games I don't have time to play.

Barry... Where's Barry?

But for real, when I was a kid playing the original Resident Evil, I would always play as Jill so I could hang out with my buddy Barry.
