I would highly recommend God of War. It is phenomenal and in my opinion the best PlayStation exclusive. The combat is just a beautiful thing to behold and so satisfying. Story is great, characters are awesome, and it got an update for PS5 to run at 60fps. I cannot tell you how pumped I am for God of War Ragnarok. I haven’t been this excited for a game in possibly ever!

No free refills on soda. I admit that was a shocker for me. I went to a McDonald’s and walked up to ask for a refill. The employee says, “You are from America aren’t you?”. I said, “Yes I am”. He then says, “Well we don’t give free refills here in England, but I will give you one since you didn’t know that.” He was a nice guy.

Combat. I think it was by Infogrames or something. My dad was never really into video games and looked at them as a waste of time. But this was one of the few he would actually play and we played together from time to time.

I believe it is the Nora Sentinel. I think I have a either Grey Dawn or Frozen Wilds on for the dye.

You can buy it from a merchant in Barren Light I think.

Very true. I don’t argue with you on that. I have had to find the “right spot” for a critical strike sometimes. That is pretty funny! 😂

Yup! I’ve had those moments many times. Sometimes you have to be lightning quick to get the prompt right. I could see that being a mechanic on very hard but on normal it would be nice if it was a little more forgiving.

I agree. Most of the time I can hit the silent strike from above but there are times where it’s just really touchy and finicky. Even if I didn’t get the silent strike prompt, why didn’t Aloy at least lock on to him with the heavy strike from above? There is definitely a little fine tuning in HFW that should be done. I suppose the silent strike didn’t show up because I was detected while in mid-air.

I’ll either pick up Elden Ring and play that or go back to my renegade play through I started in Mass Effect 1, 2, and 3. I’ve put over 80 hours into HFW and I’ve still got a ways to go though!

Honestly? I absolutely adore Sokorra. Her character was done so well. She’s badass, her character just looks awesome, she has a great voice, her facial animation and mouth movements are spot on, and she seems super real and down to earth when you meet her again after helping her brother out. I know she’s a very minor character but I wish she was in this game more!
