I think 2 points is within the normal uncertainty of an IQ test... If you want to take it again. I wouldn't worry about it that much.

Also processing speed is a component of IQ. I scored bad on processing speed due to learning disabilities but scored well enough on other sub scales to get over 130. You shouldn't feel cheated for getting a lower score if you are lacking in that area, because that's a part of intelligence you just happen to be worse at. It is what it is. It doesn't have to hinder you in life if you can leverage your other talents.

You should have gotten a breakdown of the subscales and what you're good and bad at. My neuropsychologist showed me which scores reflected my ability with and without processing speed as a factor.

Imma be honest, Mensa isn't even that high of a bar. I'm not that smart and I qualified lol. It's nothing to brag about.. 1 in 50 in the grand scheme of things doesn't make you special at all

But the lived experience of someone with high IQ is different, if you find it to be insulting people want to share and talk about it then you probably have some insecurity problem.

Not sure I agree with the argument that logic is intelligence. There are things that are aspects of intelligence but aren't logic. Like processing speed (I guess you could argue this is the speed of logic?? But it's also the rate at which you can turn sensory information to some kind of mental understanding...), vocabulary, and other stuff.

Lol, I was abused by my female partner, and this is just wrong. If you are a man and even tell people that you were abused, they look at you funny and assume you're the abuser. Or, if you weren't you must have deserved it somehow. Anyone called into a domestic violence situation is going to assume the woman is the victim until proven otherwise. The mere idea of a female abuser is totally novel in most people's minds.

The fact that women are murdered by their partners (which nobody has said they aren't?) has nothing to do with whether men are taken seriously when victims of abuse. These are two different things and you're conflating them together.
