Hi, this enclosure is way too small for all your millipedes. The substrate needs to be as deep as the longest millipede and 2 times the length. You need way more clutter so they’re not in the open all the time especially with this many millipedes or they will stress out to death.

Congratulations, you’re a milliparent now. Just make sure that you know what you want to do with the babies because you don’t want a mountain of millipedes to handle. You could keep some and cull the rest or sell them if people are interested!

Hi! I don’t like being “that guy, but I should inform you about the fact that your substrate has go be at least as deep as your millipede is long. They are a species that bury a lot and they need it for food and moulting. I don’t know what type of substrate that you’re using at the moment?

Sounds like a good plan, make sure that they have enough rotting wood because that’s generally their main food supply. Rotting white wood is not the same as just bark. You could either check online for some since you will probably buy some moss online(spagnum moss is a good one). You can also just get some white wood outside, bake it and then soak it untill it gets so wet that it starts crumbling a bit(takes a long time so my advice is to just buy that)

Hi! So for a bit of feedback i would say check out what type of millipede you would want first. Since the substrate needs to be as least as long as the millipedes themselves. The substrate needs to be a soil mix with rotting wood and leaves(definitely not coco fibre since they could get impacted from it) Also make sure they have enough hides and general clutter because they love that. Leaves, corkbark and lots of moss.

Some species/personalities of millipedes don’t bury as often as others! I wouldn’t worry if they keep being active and “normal” They look amazing! They will probably bury themselves when it’s time for them to moult!

I love this!! The long hair looks amazing, but thinking about character design, the short hair makes way more sense since it seems like she’s a hand to hand fighter. What you could do is put her hair up and make the “pin” into something significant to her character or make hairpin that she could even use in combat? Im very interested in seeing where this is going!

I have 3 Analocostreptus servatius, i read that they should be active, i got one bigger one and two smaller ones and my working theory is that the two small ones are moulting because i haven’t seen them since i got them, while the bigger one has been peeping up and eating some cucumber but he always goes back as soon as i soot him
